      White Mountain Yotas - Lol was thinking the same thing. Also was like dang Chris seems like the type of fellow to be super prepared and cautious but he was out there cutting those trees with a little pruning saw and throwing the wood around without Gloves. Tough but Tired business for sure.

      LOL. I'm not going to lie made me crack a smile. I don't remember what episode but it was after he got the winch and he turned around at some mud once I was yelling to my laptop screen lol. I love this channel and love the ethos and totally get that Chris is driving his house and not a beater. But he still tuns around too much for my liking. I have lived out of my truck and been in the middle of nowhere in Mexico so I get the feels but I still push on at least once in awhile through some challenges.

    Boy meets girl, scratch that. Boy meets girl with cute dog. Boy tries to show girl his manly 4 wheel drive skills and has to use winch for the first time, LOL! Good for you. Sharing your love of the outdoors and exploring with someone who also enjoys the same is awesome. Since you have not introduced her to us we will call her Penny for now. Good luck with Penny and keep on rolling.

Don’t listen to anything of the adolescent commenters, and keep your and your lady friend’s privacy as long as you want. Now if we can just get Chris to start off his videos with "yo yo everybody, watz goin' on out there... then he'll really be onto something. Excellent Video. Love that area, backpacked it for about a week back in the early 80's. Was fotunate enough to be selected for a summer high school study field trip for students excelling in the Natural Sciences. Was called the "Ecology-Geology Field Study". Still remember most of the details to this day! Memories that last a lifetime.....that, as you well know, is the whole premise behind Adventure Travel! Keep up the good work, and Safe Travels!

    Hello, the dead fall in Medicine Bow May have been from a tornado that went through end of June, beginning of July. I know it seems strange, but they do happen occasionally. I was just there the week before you. Thanks for stopping in my home town #Rawlins! The coffee shop that you stopped there is owned by my long time friend’s sister. Awesome to see!

  • @Rooster0529
    @Rooster0529 3 роки тому +1

    I think the addition of a snatch block, if you don’t have one would make clearing those dead falls easier. You could use it in combination with your winch to pull it perpendicular to the trail and off further onto the side of the trail. I find it easier anyway.

    Really enjoyed this video, one of my favorites. Love the AEV Outpost II, I remember a video of the owner of AEV saying that he personally had 1200 hours and another employee had 400 hours in the build of that Jeep. So huge dollars...
