At a concert in New Zealad Kenny told us the following story. The First Edition could not get work in the USA, so they came out to New Zealand several times in the early 70's. This worked for both The First Edition (they were treated like stars) and for New Zealand Tourism as they became one of the countires best ambassadors in the early 70's. Not surprised Kenny because so famous he was born to sing but his speaking voice was electrifying loved him still grieving his passing
