+Menna Mehari especially if it doesn't' look all girly. Most people wouldn't' even know if they saw him walk down the street that the hair was even fake.
+Menna Mehari Thank you. This double standard is kind of lame. When people talk smack about black women's weaves, women come back swinging - "You can't tell me how to wear my hair!", "I'm trying to look good for myself/my partner", "My decision about my hair is none of your business!", the list goes on. But a man can't do the same?
I woken wearing weave is more aggressive assimilation tbh. But I don't see a problem with a guy wearing that lace front if it makes him happy and or comfortable.
I'm glad Adrienne brought up the double standard at the end. If it's okay for women to do things to enhance and make themselves feel better, it should be okay for men too.
Rex J. Hell yeah, I’m no makeup lover but I do like to fill in my brows and I have to hide it from my family because as a guy, we ain’t supposed to care so I know they’d start prayin for me thinking something was wrong with my but I’m like uh uh brows on fleek fam
@@bejewled as a matter a fact every time a woman is bald they say oh my gosh you are so beautiful and wow omg you look amazing this ain’t the 50s stop using excuses
Honestly, it seemed pretty weird for me to watch them discredit a man for wearing "man-weave" when all 4 of them wear fake hair..I mean, if a man wants to wear fake hair to enhance himself, i really don't see anything wrong.
+Jabez Merritt No, in the summer I love swimming with my weave, so it not true you can swim when wearing a weave, I'm so tried of blk ppl saying that, it really getting on my nerves!!

I mean if you can sit there and say a man shouldn't wear toupee, shave their head bald and accept it then shouldn't you take your own advice and wear your natural hair? Isn't that the same thing? I don't get it. I personally wouldn't want a man who wears one because I barely wear weave but if a man decides thats what he wants to do because he isn't comfortable then hey, who am I? Do you!
+AshleyMorgan , exactly. My brother has a problem with thinning hair and he was thinking about getting a man weave. I thought he was joking because I had never heard of such a thing so I came here to find out what he was talking about. He doesn't want to shave his head because he has a big head. So he is seriously contemplating getting a man-weave. His wife doesn't care because she supports his happiness as he supports hers.
I didn't see the problem. It's not like the guy went and got a long female looking weave. It looked like he had a regular hair cut. He actually looked better instead of looking funny leaving the baldness. FYI not every guy can rock a bald head either (shaving it all off isn't the answer for every guy), so I'm not against the man weave.
Tiffany Rayne I would just shave mine but the real question is why don't women just rock their natural or shave their heads. everyone doesn't look good bald. I've had a low fade most of my life so I'm comfortable with that no hair look but some people can't rock it.
As a girl, I have to say I'm ashamed at the double standard Tamar and Tamera especially are perpetuating.... like really, why is it acceptable for you to have a straight-up *collection* of wigs, extensions, etc. but a guy can't wear a hairpiece? Makes no sense...
If my man can put up with my fake hair, fake eyelashes (that he finds all over the house 😂) makeup, etc.... Then why would I have a problem with him wanting to enhance himself with something that would make him feel a little more confident?? To all the men out there that are considering it, get your life and get you a man-weave!!
Adrienne and Loni said it best. Its a double standard and its unfair to preach that men should be comfortable with being natural when Tamar and Tamera have wigs on and contour/highlight etc. I think we are making this too much about women when its about the men. Being bald sucks. If men are happier with themselves with a lacefront I don't see the problem. Be natural yourself if you want your significant other to be that.
Imagine the public outrage if 5 men on TV were laughing at womens weave, wigs, hair extension ,fake eyelashes. fake eyebrow, fake lip/nose/face shapes with makeup and how they wouldn't date a girl who does all that. lol!
Complete double standard, the girls had a discussion once about how guys thought it was deceiving for girls to have cutlets or extensions and such. They saw nothing wrong with it so "oh well" for the men. It's hypocritical to say they can do it but a man shouldn't because they don't like it while saying men shouldn't judge them for doing it
Can we see the entire panel and audience of these privileged women without their 3 layers of makeup on and have men mock them for looking better with makeup? Oh but wait, only THAT scenario would be sexist.
Thomas Anderson exactly! they don't wanna be judged by their weave or make up or how they're dressed, but they hear about a man-weave and they lose their minds. fucking double standards 🙄😕
Lol what a man baby comment men judge women for their hair and makeup ALL the time that's EXAVTLY why them getting it done back for ONCE shouldn't have you running crying
Thomas Anderson You're one little bitch. Are you lying deliberately? In most parts of the clip, they were okay with boys wearing weaves. They even specifically stated that.
If he except me with my weave, then I can accept him with his. Its all about supporting what that person does that make them feel confident as long as its positive.
I love how they acting surprised. I wouldn't care if a dude had a piece. If it made him happy, then whatever. And lots of the man units look so real you can't even tell. And why they asking all these questions about fake hair like they don't have fake hair?
I have worn extensions before to get my hair cornrowed, if I want to add a little something extra to my hair to feel better, comfortable, etc with it, then I will. Makes me no less of a man to try to enhance what I've already got.
Let men do what they want. If they're going bald and would feel more confident with a little more hair, they gotta listen to you and shave it off? Be a bit more supportive. Women ask for the same exact things...
Easy for these women to say "shave it all off" when they'd be the first people to throw on a weave or a wig if they'd ever become bald. If the man wants to look better or feel better than go ahead, it's just hair. These ladies are more concerned if hair will somehow turn their guys GAY, ridiculous. (the ones that do have a man) Sitting up there with a face full of make-up, spanks, wigs and weaves and yet they don't want other people to look or feel better about themselves. I have seen people who are embarrassed about their bald heads not because they're old but you also have young guys 24-25 who are bald and are self concious about it.
Why is it even an issue? If a guy isn't comfortable displaying his baldness and wants to get a "man-weave", a toupee, a hair transplant, *whatever*, why is there any disapproval at all? Is he stealing your wallet to buy the hair? I don't get it
If you're a man that loses their hair at a early age, 19 for example and you don't necessarily have the most attracted head shape. If what you have on top looks real, isn't going to come off, and makes the person wearing it feel good about themselves, it really should not be that big of a deal. But hey thats just my opinion.
I am all for people wearing whatever they want, men and women! If it makes you feel better, or if you are a dude and just like to experiment with different hairstyles, you do you. whatever you like. As long as you tell me before we get serious i don't think it's fake. People need to get over the shaming of people going through receeding hairlines or baldness, it's a part of nature, ain't nothing to be ashamed for.
I hate that a majority of folks are so hypocritical. Men go on dates or home with women every day who, if they removed their hair and makeup, would be unrecognizable. Hair loss is traumatic no matter the gender and not every man can pull off a bald head. The hair and eyebrows are imperative to the framing of one's face. We live in a time where things are more accessible and I think people have to do whatever they feel is best for themselves without being put on blast or humiliated. The funny thing is, men have been wearing wigs and hair pieces for centuries. Why is it an issue now?
All men don't want to be bald. My highschool friend(black guy) started balding senior year(2011) by our sophomore year in college it was very noticeable so he just had to cut it all off. It was a huge blow to his ego, as far as looks. Being bald in his 20's gave him self esteem issues. I'm sure older men feel the same.

Most of these women are not exhibiting informed or considered opinions. They should do a follow up where they actually talk to a wearer and then understand what they're pontificating about.
I think the reason why its more acceptable for women to wear it rather than men is because of the high standards imposed on women to look good and look a certain way...men arent judged as harshly on the way they look and things like hair, theyre judged but not as harshly as wome

I get what they mean by just shaving off all the hair if your hair is receding. I love myself a sexy bald man too. But they don’t acknowledge that men feel insecure about losing hair just as much as they do. Your hair is your identity it’s what makes you... you. So I’m totally here for the men getting weaves out there. That guy they showed a picture of looks 10x better
As ladies we sometimes forget that hair and hair loss is as big a deal to men as it is to us...

That guy they showed a picture of looks 10x better
loni's makeup looks beautiful. Adrianne's shirt i love!!!!!
