Yes I was in a lease on an apt that I never was given a lease for. They raised my rent 2 months after I moved in and "broke the lease" on several things. I hired a legal service to try and help me get a copy of my lease...they NEVER gave me a copy....it escalated the drama there so I moved. The paralegals closed their doors once they finished school and are now working as attorneys. NOW..the complex is suing me... but I just found the guys that were trying to get my lease... so now I have ammunition to go after the complex. Contract means to me. A job. I house clean with mom and I have plans to attend school in July. Mom had knee surgery in February and it still not doing good. I’m torn and upset.
