Well the security place I applied for called me. They said I need to get a New York state ID. I dropped everyone at the same time. I needed a reset. I stopped posting on Facebook and Instagram. It was hard at first but now even though it's still feels lonely. I feel it's the best thing to do. I basically threw everyone to the universe and allowing the universe to make the choices. I can't keep putting myself in a position where I feel like I'm begging and groveling for the respect and love I deserve. I emotionally can't do it. So yeah I'm protecting my energy. Hard. I don't go out unless I have to go out.
Maybe it was the death of my mother last week or the end of my 27 year marriage or my miserable job working over nights at Walmart. I use to be an engineer making over 100,000 a year. Bruce. I was skimming over comments, and after reading yours, I felt I had to share something. Sometimes we go through really difficult times in our lives, and everything falls apart. As long as we are still here on Earth and alive things can get better. It will take time. You might think drinking is saving your life right now, and it very well may have been something that did, but the continuation of drinking will only keep you in the depths of a pit. I would encourage a place to go process a lot of this. A support group. Therapy. Something that will be helpful in providing a safe space to talk about all of this. Things can get better. Trust me. I lived on the streets and was a heroin addict at one time. My children's father commited suicide. I only share this, to share that there is hope. I am sending good energy your way for guidance.

Just had my 2 year anniversary at my job (who I’ve been to hell and back with and proved my worth over and over again to), was blocked at damn near every promotion I applied to, randomly decided to pursue TALENT ACQUISITION (aka- a LOT of people), and aced my first interview for a stretch position. Meanwhile, my hubby is really depressed living in the Midwest since he is from Colombia, a *12 hour flight* for us, so we are exploring/planning on moving South somewhere, but have been throwing around the idea of just going one state away to a big city temporarily so I could still be close to my family. 🤣
