For me, I like dagger and crossbow. Crossbow can do anything that Grenade Pistol can (except broadcast tower) while being faster, it's also one-handed while dagger can clear any small thing, like shrieker. the buff dagger has really high damage with unlimited ammo and can light stuff on fire which make it great for clearing mines on the ground and those things that slow people. Both of these can also be used with ballistic shields.
Crossbow, Dagger, Thermite are my go-to for both the bug and bot front. but if I didn't run with explosive as primary, then yeah, I bring Grenade Pistol with me every time. it has a lot of nice utility.

Not gonna lie, the dagger can kill an entire group of light bugs from 50 meters easily without even expending any ammo, it’s on par with the gp for me
A huge reason a lot of people don't like ARs and SMGs is because they bring this. It removes your pistol slot effectively for impact grenades. When having the rapid fire weapons with low damage, when your in a pinch and need to reload it feels great to bring out a pistol and just gun down any enemies to give you room to reload.
Also peacemaker has to be the most accurate gun to run and hipfire with.
I like the peacemaker I’m hoping they add a suppressed variant I love using smgs and Ars with this, I’m hoping they add it to the bottom of the liberator

lol anyway, yeah the grenade pistol is def the best secondary, but I'd argue the Senator is best non-explosive secondary.
The only reason the senator is good now is because of the fast full reload and medium pen

Will say, more useful against bugs since bug holes with the nade pistol are much more important. Bots I definitely don't bother since you can bring more efficient means of blowing fabricators up. However, it also depends on my support weapon: I don't run nade pistol on bugs if I have Grenade Launcher or Autocannon (and this still lets me bring Stun or Gas nades).
But you gotta call it in so if your teammates throw you away from your stuff it’s gonna be a bad time
@@dafluffyninja13gaming I mean yeah, corpse running can be bad. But that’s part of the life. Nade pistol is still crazy it just gets boring relying on it too much for everything. Especially when it’s not as useful versus bots since you need way more than one nade and can get more kills with the crossbow instead. Running crossbow is another alternative.
I noticed i bring granade pistol less and less in SH10 at bug missions and bot mission, moment you need reload your primary or support weapon and you notice it is not spewer type planet but hunter type planet where they jumps right at you and there is A LOT of them and of course you cant just blow your self up so you are left with option thta you need just run for your life while trying to reload primary,
Its utility is Ok but not the best secondary by a mile compared to other weapons what are now avaible after weapon buffs, Verdict when all weapons got stragger buff, it is solid secondary that will get you out of trouble plus it is really good at bot front when you need fire accurate shots in need, Senator is amazing when you need just put holes for bots and tankier bugs, crisper has armor pen level 4 same as all flame weapons so it is good wallmart version of charger cooking but it works and you can just make scorched earth that sets anything that walk over it on fire even so dps is ridiculous for one handed weapon
Bushwacker is amazing too when you need pocked nuke in a pitch anything that is coming right at you
Dagger too got amazing when lazers can put enemies on fire so its dps is even higher than it is shown at stats
My go to secondary has been for longer time now has been Verdict and now even Dagger, they are just consistently better, one dont have to think about reloading plus heat cooldown time has come down ALOT and verdict just is really accurate while you can spam bullets and do not worry about missing your shots plus reload time is like non existant for verdict
Senator i bring to help Liberator/carbine when there is tankier bug/ bot
Only few times i bring granade pistol is when i do blitzer mission where i need destroy bug hole or fabricator but even at that mission, there is better solutions

To be fair, for me it's more on play style, but yeah for utilization there's nothing better, I'm a front line fighter so my engagements are medium to short range so the explosive is too much for me so I use the verdict but yeah
They wouldn’t be close range if you blew up the enemies with the grenade pistol… just saying

grenade pistol allows you to bring any primary you want, in contrast, secondaries are all pretty lackluster.

They will probably Nerf it....(balance).....Too many complaints from the Bug and Bot communities
They did already by lowering the amount of grenades
@@dafluffyninja13gaming I'd argue they increased the grenade count, previously you would need to consume a whole resupply stratagem to fill it back up
