The supporting dancers were Minako Maruyama and Minami Tsukui.
Minako Maruyama is from elevenplay, BABYMETAL choreographer MIKIKO's modern dance group.
She's also a choreographer in her own right.
Minami Tsukui is from Japan Action Enterprise.
Minami is probably best known for her role as the character Yoko Minato/Kamen Rider Marika, from the Kamen Rider series 'Kamen Rider Gaim'.
They were known to fans as "Muscle-metal", since they are both fit.
It was just those two on the US/Europe Tour May-June 2018.
They were also two of the five supporting dancers (part of the Chosen Seven) in Japan in October 2018, along with Shōko Akiyama, Saya Hirai and Kotono Ōmori.
The avenger era ran from 2019 to 2021.
Yui was injured, but not yet gone, so they had 4 girls or more. They didn't want to give the impression Yui was being replaced while there was uncertainty about her future, so they didn't use 3 girls again until she left.

It's been a long time, thanks for coming back.
Like someone told you this was in 2018 when YuiMetal about to leave the band for good, sadly.
Distortion was supposed to be a live premiere song with YuiMetal dancing at Legend S 2017 SuMetal 20th birthday, but that never happened.
The 3rd album Metal Galaxy and live performance version after 2019 got the growlings collaboration of Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy.. There's also and official MV but none of the girls featured there only CGI and images related to the Chosen Seven lore.
This drastic costume changes was during Dark Side era, and they're look so badass, love it. After this tour, dancers were replaced by a new set of dancers rotation system called avengers, but none of them have a mic or sing, they just dance, but in this era and live tour they were backing up by these two backup dancers called "muscle-metal" by the fans, during big live concert at "Dark Night Carnival" they put more dancers and a temporary dancer filling the third spot of YuiMetal. Oh and it was MoaMetal behind SuMetal.
After they finish Legend S 2017, and while waiting for YuiMetal to return, Su and Moa decided to keep carry on with the project, it wasn't the time to take a break, apparently all this new look was already in mind but not having one of the core members worried them a lot, especially at Kansas City debut, and even taking precautions to protect each other in case someone reject the idea or the show, fortunately that never happened but for some fans this era wasn't their favorite, i think is cool and I have no problem if they come back with these type of badass costume or similar, they learned a lot during this hard times, make no mistake, our girls are troopers and grow up a lot after this.
The Kami Band there were: ISAO and Takayoshi Ohmura on guitars. BOH on bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums, the only change here was ISAO because remember Mikio Fujioka past away by this time (R.I.P.)
Of course if our queen is commanding for a big circle then we better obey 🦊🤘💫🏃♂️

About TOTD, i know judging by comments that you didn't quite get the meaning of the song or why is part of the BM repertory, hopefully someone already explained why and how that song was created. If not lemme know. I'll be glad to give some lights.

You're totally right, Tales of the Destinies was 100% meant as a tribute to prog rock and Dream Theater in particular.
Yeah, those accents are awesome. One of the things Babymetal do really well is use rhythmic variations like that, and I think it definitely helps in a pretty straightforward song.
The Kami Band....*are* a bunch of session musicians. They always have been. They are often the same handful of session musicians, but they still definitely have always rotated out members.
That's ybi always thought it was do weird leda is basically the only one if them that played in the recording

You're right about Su and Moa. 2018 was the year of "the chosen 7" for Babymetal. It all lead up to a show where they've got Su, Moa and 5 other dancers. These were just 2 of those dancers. The Avengers started in 2019.
I'm glad you liked this song because a lot of what they've teased for their upcoming album is also pretty heavy. There's plenty to look forward to.
Edit: I wanted to mention, this is an early version of the song. When the album with the song officially came out they re-recorded vocals to have Alissa from Arch Enemy on this track.

@@zephyr835 everything I've ever seen has said this isn't Alissa. If you compare this to the Legend Metal Galaxy performance there is a noticeable difference. Unless they gave her credit for only one version this is almost certainly not her.

That´s the year when Yui was injured. In Autum this year she officially left. Since the due of Su and Moa looked strange at the beginning of the US tour they brought 5 backup dancers. Not6 the avengers yet. And they gave the girls this Make Up where you can hardly recognize who is who.
congratulations again for bringing us back to Babymetal, and as always, a great reaction, this song has an important value for me, because it was with her, that I got to know Babymetal, I saw a snippet of about 30s and it caught me in a way, I went to listen to it in its entirety and there was no other, I fell in other videos and that day I became a fan!!! waiting for more reactions, see you more...

This Is from their third album, and you were right, no Yui. The other 2 were dancers hired for the 2018 tour, called "muscle metal" by the fans, since they were quite bigger than Su and Moa 😁
I believe this Is the First Time you see the guitarist on the Right with the Red Guitar, Isao.

Seen Su do the i want to see a circle pit ! i want to see a bigger circle pit !! Bigger Bigger !!! during a few songs . Quite a few times during Catch me if you can but during Distortion at Legend Metal Galaxy day 2 you got a impressive image of Su twirling her finger in a circular motion and not saying a word while a huge screen shows Su's eyes giving a death stare and multiple huge circle pits appear everywhere. Sometimes Su's power is scary 😨 but i like it 🤣🤘🦊🤘

Great reaction as always. It's gotten to a point where it's a like from the beginning. Reason: you always explain your reasons perfectly. I will always like even a negative review, if it's explained properly. Love this song and glad you like it too.
You can always recognize the Kami members by their instruments even when they are wearing masks - except for this one time it was a bit complicated. Guitarist Mikio Fujioka passed away a couple months before the tour but you can see his guitar in the hands of Takayoshi Ohmura on the left of the stage. This is how we all paid respect to Mikio.
You may check "Children Of Bodom - Trashed, Lost & Strungout" to find out where this song comes from. It's not a reaction request, just listen to it and be amazed.
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 I am relieved at your evaluation, which is reasonably high, because only 22-minute long video for BABYMETAL is normally not a good sign for scoring. 😄 You have already received a lot of information about this performance even before the wise men in our fanbase show up here. Grington300 300, Rick Wagner, Jake Muller and others will come soon. I am waiting for them, too. BABYMETAL's "Dark Side Era in 2018" may be regarded as chrysalis. When the era ended, they came back in a form of beautiful butterflies that are no cute little girls any longer but grown-up ladies after going through tough experiences. Su-Metal as a queen with dignity. Moametal as an archangel with gravitating force.
With this one, the official MV..it was totally different feel from so far, lore went deeper and darker with it..and at least for me, it was scary realistic somehow..always good(ran out of words, so good have to do) reactions from you, so keep them coming
Great reaction again. I will try to clarify who is who with the dancers and so on, but first just picking up on your thoughts about 'Tales of the Destinies' and BABYMETAL's "established sound and way of doing things" - their way of doing things is to change up what they do every time, making each song different (you haven't heard their second song 'iine' yet - they established this very early on). As such 'TotD' fits perfectly well within and follows their philosophy - it is not what anybody expects, it takes us by surprise, but it is still recognisably BABYMETAL.
I will try to give a time line of who everybody is and when they were involved.
First BABYMETAL themselves:
October 2010 - October 2017 Su-metal, Yuimetal and Moametal
December 2017 Legend S Yui pulls out under doctor's advice. Su and Moa perform the shows as a duo with no change in the choreo, so Yui's spot is vacant, the audience sings Yui's lines.
2018 tour through to October 2018 Yui is still officially in the band but unable to perform, her place is held for her hoped for and expected recovery and return. For the tour Su and Moa are supported by 2 dancers Minami Tsukui and Minako Maruyama (affectionately called Muscle Metal by the fans). The choreo is adjusted accordingly with Su and Moa centre stage and swapping front to back depending on the songs, Muscle metal off to either side.
October 19th(?) Yui announces she is still not fully recovered and will be leaving.
Late October 2018 - tour finale with the "Dark Night Carnival" shows. Finally we get the reveal of the "Chosen 7" (the lore was being teased all year), so Su and Moa are now joined by 5 dancers - Minami Tsukui and Minako Maruyama (the Muscle metal girls) another called Saya and two more whose names have escaped me (so hopefully someone can fill in those gaps).
End of 2018 with appearances at festivals in Asia and Australia - Su and Moa are supported by Saya as the dancer with the choreo now returned to the original trio formation.
June 2019, the start of the 2019 tour and the Avengers are announced - Riho, Kano and Momoko will be taking turns dancing in the third spot. This system continues through to 2021 until BABYMETAL go on hiatus as announced in October 2021.
On the Kami Band:
2010, BABYMETAL form as the Heavy Music Club within Sakura Gakuin. They sing and dance to a backing track. In 2012 they perform a couple of solo shows and Babybones dressed in their skeleton suits pretend to play the instruments, just for show.
October 2012 Babybones are still there for the bulk of shows, the Kami Band make their debut playing live for 2 encore songs at Legend I. For the next 18 months the Kami Band is phased in playing a couple of festivals and the encores in some shows, but Babybones are still on stage for the rest of the time.
In May 2013 they have a short series of shows with the Kami Band supporting them .... I don't think any videos exist from these shows - I think Su considered them as training, getting them used to having a live band backing them.
March 2014 BABYMETAL sell out the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo 2 nights running and release their first album. The Kami Band becomes their full time backing band for all live shows and performances from here on.
December 2017, Legend S the Kami Band's traditional white burial robes are replaced with dark robes.
June 2019 the Kami Band are now wearing masks instead of corpse face paint (Tokyo Dome and the performance of TotD was in 2016, long before the change in costume and masks were brought in).
For the US tour of 2019 and the UK & Europe tour of 2020 the Kami Band of the West support BABYMETAL. They are Chris Kelly, CJ Masciantonio and Clint Tustin from Galactic Empire with Anthony Barone on drums.
Early 2020 the Legend Metal Galaxy shows - two nights, two completely different set lists. Day 1 Kami Band of the East back in white robes but still in masks, Day 2 Kami Band of the West in the dark robes and masks.
For the finale on Day 1 both Kami Bands East and West, all 8 musicians, on stage together plus all 3 Avengers join Su and Moa. This is repeated for the finale on Day 2 (but with a different song).
Hopefully this will help - and if I have got anything wrong or missed any details I'm sure someone will correct me or fill in the gaps.

On the Metal Galaxy shows, you can really hear the differences between the 2 Kami bands. And when they finally shared the stage together, you can really see how much livelier and how much more interactive the East Kami are with the crowd. Even with masks on, their character really shines through with their body language and crowd interaction.
It's in the sound too. The West Kami band is very precise, but they also feel like they are playing by the note while the East Kami sounds a bit looser (in a good way) and sound like they are playing for the crowd more.
Post Yui, Pre Avengers...well, at this point in history Yui had not yet Officially left but the show had to go on so they brought in 2 backup dancers to fill Yui's spot whom the fans dubed "The Muscle Twins". The Avengers did were not announced until the end of this World Tour.

Good reaction. The backing growls was originally recorded by a uncredited Viking Metal band, but was recorded by Arch Enemy's Alissa White for the album. Her vocals were used on the live performance backing track ever since.

Great review! Love the song, but I'm kinda partial to the 10 BABYMETAL Budokan (Doomsday 1 & 2) performance. The Budokan 2021 shows are where I first started listening to them so I watch those shows a lot.
I am glad that it doesn't seem to be blocked this time. However, well, to tell the truth, I have not watched much of their videos from this 2018, 'Dark side' piriod. I believe the only official videosin this year, are web members-only and there seems to be less footages than in other years. Well, I would like you to review a few more BMs from the original members' period of Yui, but since you seem to be much more excited and liking it, I'll stop being sarcastic about this, haha. Well, at this time, Kami Band is still unmasked though, ha. Yui had missed their show in Hiroshima in December of the previous year, and did not show up for the US tour the following May. Then BM went on the EU tour in June that included this Download. Mikio had also passed away during this time. I guess it was a difficult time for them, but it is really great to see they performing so well. This song, Distortion, is something I'm not sure I've digested well yet. I think the song is cool, as you say, with the syncopated drums (doing it?, haha), and I think the lyrics are meaningful, but I feel like I'm building a wall of my own.
But Moa dancing behind Su-, has great sharpness of her body movement. The two on either sides are Minami Tsukui (佃井皆美) and Minako Maruyama (丸山未那子), aka Muscle Metal. I have heard that Moa learned a lot from the two dancers during this period, including how to develop her body as a dancer. Minami used to make a guest appearance on BOH & Takayoshi's stream. She was an adorable person. Thank you from Japan!

It feels like a serious song without the comical elements for typical BM songs, but you're right, the lyrics do seem to have some meaning, but they may not actually mean anything. Yeah you were right about Su and Moa, and Yui not being there. This is summer 2018, Yui had stopped performing in december 2017 but she didn't announce her retirement until late 2018. During 2018 they improvised with this formation while waiting for her to recover, they contracted 5 performers to accompany Su and Moa, some of them other idols in contract in Amuse, and this other two professional performers in dancing and martial arts. If you are curious about the name it is Minami Tsukui and Minako Maruyama.
When Yui confirmed she was leaving later that year they already started with the avenger thing in 2019 and this girls never appeared again*
*In the 2021 Budokan anniversary shows Minami and Minako again appeared briefly in a choreographed fight during the Akatsuki performance.

Yui was still officially a member, but was already absent from touring. The two extra girls are called Musclemetal by fans and were extra dancers. They were before Avengers and I'm sure someone will name them in the comments. I personally love this setup and it looked so good. Musclemetal was featured back in 2021 in the song Akatsuki in the same outfits they used to have in early 2018, doing the fight choreography that used to be in earlier years of BM.
Funfact! In the second half of 2018 they had an outfits change from dark mage/elf warrior to dark witch Both are my favorite costumes from them.
Distortion response and call is always so cool. Back in 2020 during Legend Metal Galaxy Su actually only used her finger to command the crowd to do the circle.
In lore this wasn't the Chosen 7 yet I think, but started the Dark Era. The second 2018 tour (dark witch outfits) was Chosen 7 with Starlight. Dark Night Carnival of the 2nd 2018 tour was the pinnacle of the Chosen 7 with 7 dancers on stage. In this tour they still didn't know whether Yui would return so they made slight changes. After Chosen 7 and Dark Era, Light Era has started with Avengers and their current outfits. Light Era ended in 2021 and we entered the Metalverse. They're dropping song snippets behind a paywall and might sadly go full digital because Koba has a b*ner for NFTs and crypto. However the songs sound cool, especially Throne and Light And Darkness.

Great reaction and I'm really surprised at your reaction to TOTD!!! 😁 This concert was after the Yui had to leave for medical reasons. Babymetal experimented with this setup for a bit and the two side girls were called "Muscle" metal. They also changed the outfits to more darker more mature look. Someone else will have to give their names. They were later replaced by the Avengers who danced in Yui's spot with even better looking outfits.

I still wish we could find out what happened to Yui-Metal. They said she left for "health reasons". With the pressure and control put on these kids to perform all the time, my guess would be that it was a breakdown of some kind. Not one word leaked about it from what I've seen. Due to all the stress at this time in the bead, you can see that Su doesn't have her usual smile. It is very forced. I'm glad she has made it through the teen years and still performs amazingly. Glad this one didn't get blocked.

I could tell you were digging this one from your face right away. This song is fierce and so is the choreography. Moa is getting a workout. I am surprised this wasn't higher scored though considering how much it look like you enjoyed it. RoR and I believe headbanger both scored higher. The One as well I think. But 8.9 is still dang good. No complaints. And dang it, I always see your posts just as I am going to bed. It's almost 4am but I had to watch.
As others have said. Those girls on the side were called "musclemetal" by the fans and yes yes yes that was our Moa behind Su just crushing the dancing and providing some vocals. 🤘🦊🤘

Regarding "masked Kami-Band" and "just a bunch of session musicians": Well... how to put it... The Kami-Band technically is (and ever was) in fact "just" a bunch of session musicians.
These girls were called Musclemetal, it's a while before the Avengers join yet.
Did someone say "Syncopated"? They have a song called Syncopation, and god, I LOVE the guitars, the bass, the vocal, the choreo in that song for how they combined so perfectly.
Back to Distortion, in Babymetal shows later on, she didn't even need to speak, just twirl her finger and they form the circle(s) 🤣 You should watch it in your own time. This song is not my favourite as it's kind of just average, kind of "normal" compare to everything BM has done, but it could easily hook metalheads with it's heaviness.
Also someone managed to upload their whole Legend Metal Galaxy concert (2 days) on youtube, hope you can watch them sometime

Without complicated explanations, at the time of this tour it was not known if Yui would return.
Additional dancers were added and were called The Seven. Later on the amount of girls including Moa and Su, was reduced to four. The girls you see here with Moa and Su, were known as Muscle Metal. As you observed the dancing is powerful and frantic hence the name Muscle Metal.
The tour and outfits were not popular with many fans because at the time AMUSE, announced nothing about Yui not being on the tour or any useful information about the dancers.

Come on David, you've reacted to Babymetal enough.... You know they'd never give up on a chance to interact with the crowd.... I mean, of all the bands you've reacted to, I'm sure crowd participation is probably the most integral part of any Babymetal performance more than any other band. By now, I have a theory that call and response is actually written in to the songs. Su's crowd control is legendary, but in thus performance I guess she isn't using her full power, she actually had to tell the crowd she wanted a big circle.... if you fast forward a couple years to her Legend Metal Galaxy concert, during Distortion all she did was twirl her finger, no words spoken, and several pits were opening up. 🤘🦊🤘

Good reaction, as you have accustomed us. So far, aside from Tales and this song, you have reacted to the first two albums. Assuming that my musical knowledge is zero (which I think in many ways helps me to enjoy music more in general) I would say that between the first two and the third there is a big jump. In the third I have the feeling that the songs, like the girls, have matured (I love the trilogy of light) and the change has seemed very pronounced (I read that there are many Babymetal fans who did not like this change) . I think that as you react to the songs on this latest album, you will begin to perceive that maturity (or at least you will be able to tell me if it is or not) and you will appreciate its evolution.
As I have already said, everything is a personal appreciation without any basis, since I lack it. I only capture what this last album transmits to me: maturity

I want to point out again that when it comes to Tales of the Destinies... well BABYMETAL is also kinda sort of a tribute to metal as a whole. One could also say that they symbolize a young/fresh take on metal through a discovery of genres type of journey. BABYMETAL can be also interpreted as the young girls that they are/were discovering metal in all it's forms and genres.
That's why they chose to go for a song/tribute to prog-metal/DT. Not because they want to steer this or that way. They love experimenting and BABYMETAL itself was an experiment on music and genre mixing. And lord knows you can't write a tribute song to DT and not overcomplexify everything :D.

You will have many comments explaining your concerns but I will focus on the kami-band because I know you appreciate the live sound as much as I do.
You will see many things that will confuse you at the beginning and mainly what nobody liked... the masks in kami band. If you keep reacting to the third album you will have to look at the instruments and it will be easy to recognize who is playing. I mean, the kamiband was masked for the third album "Metal Galaxy" and dressed in black. New musicians from the west were integrated, this was done because babymetal became a world phenomenon and they played a lot outside of Asia, so it clashed with the personal projects of the original kamiband.

Good reaction (despite it being less than 40 minutes long lol). This was the dark period of Babymetal, with Yui being absent for still unknown health reasons, Mikio having passed (RIP), and the addition of the two muscle metals. The new formation with Moa behind Su and the muscle metals to the side isn't my favorite, but I see that they were experimenting with new things to make up for Yui's absence. The period ended with the finale, "Dark Side Carnival", where they had 5 additional dancers instead of the two muscle metals (they were still present, so 3 new dancers were added). I can't even imagine how hard that time must have been for Su and Moa (and everyone else involved) but I am glad they kept pushing through it and are now as good as anyone can wish for. See you in the next one and remember: stay metal!
Maybe it wasn't the best formation but I think it was the most respectful since they said they were waiting for YuiMetal to recover and come back.
The big finale was called "Dark Night Carnival".
Dark Side was the time that received the era in 2018, according to the lore.

Yes here Is 2018. Yui has left, Mikio Fujioka had died, Kami Solos are gone, The little girl tutu outfits are gone (Pedos were upset), Muscle Metal dancers here, Guitarist Isao Fujita (8 string next to the drums) started filling in as a regular Kami. At the other end of stage you can see guitarist Takayoshi Ohmura using Mikio's guitar. Later in the year they would add 3 more dancers. The following year (2019) none of the dancers returned, 3 new ones became the Avengers, returned to dress like outfits, Kamis went into masks. Also "Tale of the Destinies" was done only one time live in 2016 (Takayoshi and Mikio on guitars) no masks back then.

For clarity, ISAO had already been in the kamiband pool, but it had been a couple of years since he last played with Babymetal.
@@johnschultz7765 Yes you are correct. That's why I said filling in as regular. He did some shows in 2014 - 15 prior. Notably at Yokohama, where the Kami band did the song that would later be known as "Hill of Wisteria" for Mikio. Only fan cams of that show available.
We were just as confused as you about that configuration back when we saw it for the first time. You were absolutely right, it was just after Yui‘s (not yet official) departure. They seemed to run around like a headless chicken for a while after that and tried different configurations. Thankfully, at some point they realized that the trio was the sweet spot.
I often feel that the song could be a little more complex, maybe a guitar solo or something. But then again, perhaps it’s the compactness that makes it so good, it leaves you wanting more.
I agree about the choreography, especially the synchronicity between Su and Moa always strikes me when I see this performance.
The two extra girls on stage here we termed "MUSCLE-METAL" - they are there just as dancers.. if I remember rightly they're martial artists as there was a fight scene between them in -Ijime Dame Zettai- (Edit: Akatsuki) on this tour. Various configurations of backup dancers were tried before they settled back into the classic trinity system, with the rotating Avenger concept.
We didn't really know if Yui would be on tour in 2018.. nobody expected her not to be there. But she wasn't there on the US tour, then the same here in Europe. I think it took until the AMUSE shareholders meeting later in the year before we heard any actual news about why she wasn't there (illness), as some Kitsune fans are major shareholders and could ask questions to the board.

Getting here very late so I see others have already explained about the back-up dancers and how they are called Muscle-metal (which I have to admit that name bemuses me a little since they don't seem any more buff than Su and Moa to me - and I don't mean that as a knock on Muscle-metal but that I definitely don't think I would want to be punched for real by either Su or Moa). I also assume it's already been mentioned that the guest vocals (obviously track here) were Alissa White-Gluz.

This was the tour that was done when Yui was injured, but was still in the band.
The other dancers were called the Chosen 7, as there were 5 of them, plus Su and Moa. Most of the time they used 2, but at some shows in Japan they used any number of them, all the way up to the 7. This format did not really go down that well, as it pushed Moa to the back and made her seem more like a dancer than a member of the group. I believe on the next tour they started the Avengers and went back to the old format of 3 on stage, OK yes they have have all of them on stage at times in Japan. 1 or 2 of the 7 did become popular, and one of them, Kotono, went on to be a singer/dancer in Iron Bunny.

The Chosen 7 era was not a popular one with the fans, mainly due to all that was going on, or should I say all that was not being said.
I mean, the comment about Moa being pushed to the back is just wrong. If you watch the Download Festival show there are songs where Su is at the front, there are times where Moa is at the front, there are times where they're both up front addressing the crowd.
@@shawn4819 Yes that's what you see in the video, when the camera is on Su. It's a visual trick that can be done when done on camera. Look at the bits when the camera is at a distance from the stage, like at 4:56
But if you watched them live at the time, and you could see the whole stage, it looked like Moa was just one of the 3 dancers at the back for a lot of the time, as for a few songs when Moa came to the front and Su went to the back. I saw them 3 times on this tour, one of the reasons why I called the tour the "Su-Metal Experience", because Su was the focus.

Those breaks and call and responses are planned/scripted whatever you wanna call it. They know ahead of time which songs will have breaks for call and response.

Big fan of these young ladies and their Kami Band and I think it is a good song but it is not one of my top 15 BabyMetal songs or performances (I actually like it less than you apparently do). I also enjoy the D2Metal Galaxy Concert performance of this song much better.
I do disagree with your statement concerning how difficult the choreography was (however, I have seen many more than you and maybe even every song of theirs performed LIVE so I have more to go on) and in my opinion there are many more songs where the choreography is much more intricate and difficult. I am constantly amazed at how well they perform them -I have yet to see many mistakes as they appear to be seamless.

Well when I filmed this video we didn't even have Baragon yet, we just got him last week. Manda has been a little anti-social lately with Little B (Baragon) in the house, hopefully she'll acclimate herself to him soon. Glad there was no block, considering you were using a video directly from BabyMetal. I love this song but that video is cringe, for me at least. I never liked these costumes and this was the between times/dark times so--- also Muscle Metal twins (sigh). I get why they tried this but the Avengers were a better option, but that is getting ahead. Anyways. Great reaction. The two girls they brought in are known affectionately as "Muscle metal" by the fans. Minami Tsukui and Minako Maruyama doing the bulk of the shows during the 2018 tour. The girls are pro level stunt women /martial artists. Which is kinda odd. But it worked. And during at least one of the shows they even staged a full fight scene.
As a former martial artist (decades ago), I really appreciate these women. I wish I could remember the video with their, “fight scene.” That was an epic performance. I understand the whole production/marketing decisions. They don’t get enough credit IMO, but are very talented and I thank them for their contribution to my favorite group.
