Hey, I’m a big fan. I am 17 years old and also caught a lot of fish and have a bit of experience with Filleting. I used to do it that way too until my mom was Asking me why I wouldn’t scrape the meat off of the backbone. And I started to do that and I would get so much more meat from the fish. After you do your usual fillet, take a knife and just gently run the knife along the backbone and peel the meat off of the backbone. That’s some of the best tasting meat from the fish!
Need to turn the Folbe rod holder around before you lose a rod.
