These are great drum beats! I'm definitely gonna steal some of these for inspiration.
That's basically every "Super Charger" song ever made. 💯😎🤣
Check out Radio Birdman ...you'll get the high speed 8th note Rock psychobilly thing in spades.
Looks like fun.. I'm a non drummer
Excellent video..thanks
What brand/type of drum head do you use for your floor tom resonant head? I did actually note a slight delay when groove switched to floor tom. I'd never realized this before - thanks!
Richard Chupp clear ambassador Remo 16” on the reso
@@stewartjean2066 In the last several weeks, I have been updating my resonant heads to Remo Clear Emperor Drumheads. I have been very pleased with the booming sound they provide. I had been wondering how the Ambassador would sound too. For so many years, I hadn't realized what a huge difference the various types of resonant heads can make. Thanks for your reply Stewart Jean!
@@richardchupp8390 I doubt there would be too much difference between the emps and ambass resos. The Ambassadors would probably provide a bit more sustain as they are a thinner head. The key (not that I practice this) is to change resos when you change batters. Amazing how much the tone is affected by the bottom heads. Thanks for checking out the video and for your comments!
Nice lesson
That's not psychobilly
i knew something seemed weird when he mentioned The Misfits as a psychobilly band lol
If you 2x speed then it's Psychobilly
That sounds more like post-rock not psychobilly.
Nothing to do with Psychobilly.
