Ohh so the dev didn't change the Xen levels. A few videos didn't show Xen, so I was expecting a surprise. Also, I jokingly installed the HD models, and they're almost compatible.
@@matthewrezuke8130 You can try it by placing the "models" folder from "Valve HD", or any other mod, into the ray-traced "Valve" folder. Because the mod dev added a custom crowbar mod too.
oh yeah btw cool idea for video, half life expanded with mods, firstly part of half life induction mod before hazard course, hazard course, part of half life induction mod after hazard course, half life, uplinked mod, shepard in lambda core.
yep. i dont know what is the point to do such a speedy gameplay run when most viewers are want to see more about the ray traced grafics (because probably most of them did not have a rtx capable vga. just like my self)
don't worry mate, it has it's drawbacks. the gpus heat up your room like no other and after a short while you'll be sweating if you don't have an AC they also draw soo much current it will hike up your energy bill. your computer will also be screaming because the fans will run on constant max
@@Andreas_Mann I've bought a RTX 3070 specifically for half life RTX, and yeah, my computer and GPU's fans were extremely loud when I've tested it. I don't know if it's the RTX that consume so much energy, or my CPU that is a bit old (Ryzen 5 2600), but when I've tested a fight with the Black Ops in Lambda Core, my GPU reached 80°C.
Imagine combining all this work with the MMod. It would be a version of Black Mesa in low quality. The work they did is excellent.
The real Half life source
The Control-esque giant font chapter titles are an interesting addition, but it’s missing a bassy thump sound to go with it.
imagine this is 1998 game. how good it looks today
I never knew that there was a secret area at 27:32 lol
I never knew until today
this is just gorgeous and atmospheric and adds so much to the already great game!
Gordon had too much coffee this morning, moves like a squirrel 😄
The lighting literally adds more depth and emotion to the chapters.
Subscribed today!
I like the flashlight.

They should have worked on metal textures as well, to get full advantage of rtx
Only 1 person work this mod lol
@@gamerbeginner5019ouch
Does this mod not have the D3D or open Gl turned on? everything is playstation looking and pixely like its running on software rendering

Is it possible to play this with mmod at the same time?

YO I wondered if it worked with Uplinked.

are you blind?

What's wrong with textures ?
Just what I was wondering. Did adding RT necessitate the removal of texture filtering perhaps?
Is this source or goldsrc cause dammm
Xash3D I guess

You cant
Is it glitching ?

opposing force please 🙂
There’s no opposing force with ray traced here (same for blue shift)
Player is good. Walkthrough is good. Game looks like sh*t. RTX in Q2 was better.
