Wow! Having grown up in Upton, it's hard to describe seeing the explosive growth of this railroad in the past 20 years. I witnessed those old Alco's chugging up the grades in Grafton back in the the 1980's and these recent developments are just amazing to me. For those that study the G & U , I think that this railroad for so many years had an important role in the development of the entire region and that tradition continues today.
Oh WoW wish those type of innovative management was on our city and Railway....Congratulations hope you film updates...Thank you for sharing and showcasing this property for future Customers 😀😊🙏 many God Prayers
I think there’s some concerns but to my knowledge a section of the property will be given to the town. This section is likely the one with any wetlands (or the section abutting it if there’s even any). To my knowledge it was all just forest but I could be wrong.

Another "Wow". That's huge. What an amazing railroad rebirth.
fantastic
Wow. Freight by rail is coming back big time. Housatonic in CT I believe is getting new customers too.
Question❓. Does the Grafton and Upton RR still have all their Old Engine's sence they recently got these three EX CSX Engine's❓. Thank You...
They have a couple of their old engines left, 1751 and 1501
Maybe a major military supplier or aerospace company will build. And use the railroad for the transportation of raw and finished materials.
Not likely, with all the NIMBYs & hatred of corporations...
Good job! Also, I love how both the towns of Upton and Hopedale hate this project because it “will” affect their water source like yeah right….
No doubt the NIMBY's will be on the war path again !
Nice video
That's a big development
Looks like they may be encroaching on wetlands. I am for progress but at what cost.
