This is one of the best video ive seen - i was able to follow him step by step- he was very clear on his instructions and spoke very well! Thank you young man- ive been lookiing for a video just like yours and im glad i found it.....
GREAT JOB Norris. You and MimiG are the best. Videos and directions are clear also easy to understand. You guys are lifesaver. THANK YOU. I HOPE GOD BLESSED YOU BOTH.
This was so great!! You're really good at this too. Though I do wish you had shown the finished version a bit longer so we could get excited with you. I saw the pictures of you in it but they feel very fast so, blink and you miss it, kind of fast, and without any up close looks. Thank you for doing this! I subscribed and liked !
Wow you really out did yourself with this one, Love the pattern, but your top stictching was really on point made everything look so professional ! Definitely buying this one !
Norris - I loved the video. I do not (yet, but I think I might soon :) own the pattern you used. Your sew-along tutorial was very well done but if (maybe when) I make this I make this I would do a few changes. I am fortunate enough to own a Brother CV3550 cover stitch machine which will do a cover stitch on both the bottom and top so when directions call for "top stitching" I use the cover stitch machine in addition to my sewing machine and my over-lockers. If I do not use my cover-stitch machine I will, often, use a twin needle when a pattern calls for top stitching. I look forward to watching each and every video you make.
Nice presentation. Thank you. Couple of questions. Is it also possible to use a double needle instead of doing two separate rows of stitching. Are these men’s only style or can they be made for females. What size did you cut and lastly.... How did you get a clean cut on your pattern pieces. Appreciate the response. Thank you! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Hi, Norris. Would you mind if I asked you a question? I am interested to know how to cut men's trousers.I am a beginner. Have been inspired by what you are doing.
Are the straps really 1 3/4"? when I measure the pattern and remove the 5/8" seam allowance they come out to 2". I'm making trying to buy an overall buckle but ak worried 1 3/4" will be too small...
Hey! You can get this pattern at Joann’s, hobby lobby, or Walmart if they have some in stock. Out side of that you would have to check with your local independent fabric stores to see if they sale commercial patterns.
Yeah… I followed this exactly and it did not work. It is way too large around the chest. Super glad I wasted three days and 60$ trying this out. Maybe would’ve been a good idea to actually show how you slim it down since that is how it is advertised on both the pattern and in the video.
I learned the hard, expensive, frustrating, way that I rarely fit standard patterns. Even though it takes a lot more time, doing a muslin (a version of the pattern in a super cheap fabric) first can really help. I’ll usually skip things like the linings, buttons, and extra topstitching to save time and money. You can find where you need to make adjustments, practice them on the cheap fabric, and mark up the changes. Your end result will be more personalized.

I made the jumpsuit of this pattern using your tutorial 👍. One question, was the top of the front bib pocket meant to be closed off?
Really Nice Work..

The pattern call for 1 3/4" wide overall buckle. This had been very hard to find. Any suggestions? PLEASE HELP!!!!
Sweet. Can I make this into and overall long maxi skirt with the overall pocket for a top😊
yep. just make the skirt and attach it to the top.
Cool!
How long this job will take normally if all the pieces are cut out.
Really frustrating that the tutorial didn’t show all the steps to finish the overalls
Hi Norris,
Where can I buy this pattern? Hope to hear your reply TIA

Tony Woods you can find the pattern as almost any fabric store. Joann’s Fabrics will definitely have it.

I messed up my pants tapering in.
I have made both views in this pattern and according to the finished garment measurements they do not fit me, such a waste of time and money,

I never knew hearing a man say “notions”, and knowing what it means, would be sexy!
