Lol same, about the hair cut. I also got one n told her I wanted a lot of layers, mind you my hair was one length. I gather all my strength n told her I was seeing any layers she didn’t listen then I gather myself again n told her “sorry but I just don’t see the layers” I don’t like being confrontational 🤧 paid almost 200 for my cut n color 😵💫 went home n I chopped it myself. Then a couple of weeks later I had to go get it fixed up again by another lady n I’m struggling because it looks so bad 😮💨😅

Why don’t you try out a colour depositing conditioner that way when you want to go back lighter there will be less damage
I’d rather just get a gloss every few months bc it looks better then depositing conditioners and it doesn’t really damage my hair at all:)
(also glosses lift out of hair easily)
