I come out of a military family, my dad and all my uncle's did serve the navy, every single time i see sea battles i think of my dad. Really a great video, love the amazing sounds and i remember every single fallen hero every year. May god bless them all.

1:30 the ship shown here is the Scharnhorst , since her turrets are triple barreled and turned away from the crashing waves to try an not get the insides soaked with water, and since the barrels are long and thick, it has to be Scharnhorst, since the only other battleship to do this in the german navy, Gneisenau only had two guns per main turret

Having to hand over the fleet post WW1 was crippling…lots and lots of steel just pissed away.

The Royal navy was stronger. And HMS Hood got defeated so easily was because the Bismark got a lucky shot. A really lucky shot.
The Kriegsmarine had only 10 active destroyers in 1940
The Royal Navy had over 80 destroyers in the Home Fleet alone in 1940 😂
