@@sunnyjim1355 long season live - fishmans, performed on the 28th december 1998 recorded in akasaka blitz, minato, tokyo, japan released in 1999 by polydor records in japan
TL earned everything they achieved. They loaded up top heavy on talent and truly delivered 2 GREAT albums in 76. Always giving their fans what they expected on into the 80's!! Thank You for posting.
My mum had this album in her meagre record collection, along with others like Hawkwind's 'Warrior on the Edge of Time'. I didn't realize until many years later just how damn cool she was, because to me then she was just 'mum'. RIP Mum.
Years ahead of their time Loved Lizzy as a teenager and didn't realize I was into Heavy Rock as such but they and Sweet were the perfect introduction into the wonderful world of proper Hard Rock and Metal
Why does this sound so... different? It's fucking great, like a remaster or something. You can even hear a little "oh yeah!" before the solo at 0:54 that I've never heard before. It sounds much fuller than I've ever heard it.
Any idea what particular version of this song you have posted here? it's obviously the studio version that everybody's heard, but that "oh yeah!" at 0:54 exists in NO other version I've ever heard. Additionally, the whole thing sounds much crisper and slightly more violent than any other version I've ever heard. Is it the original vinyl? A particular CD release?
I believe this is the Joe Elliot remix/remastering? -But did he only do this song on Johnny the fox? Fantastic sound on this one! Amazing guitars! Someone out there that's got the facts about this take?
@@Frip36 Really? Maybe one shouldn't mess with past masterpieces... With a quick listening you could hear differences in the harmony guitars' vibratos etc but haven't checked them out thoroughly. Hmmm, who would've known 😮
@@Jarde-kl3uv Can't remember where I read that this particular version was mixed by Joe Elliot and Scott Gorham.... Too bad so many of Lizzy's albums were so poorely produced!
If anyone out there has bought this album second hand and it has the Hack is 100% cool writen on it please sell it back to me I will pay a good price. Many thanks.
Two minutes and 18 seconds of absolute perfection.
It'll never get better than this, because it's impossible to improve perfection. The lyrics slap just as hard as the music.

Imagine today's garbage bands making 2 albums in 1 year, that is never going to happen.
bought this album back in 1976 awesome.

I was 10 in 76 so not me, i think in my case it must have been around 1984/85
I am not going to lie, I believe every word Phil ever sung ;-)
Best version!
One of my favorite Lizzy songs. It makes me want to get up and pretend that im a rock star.
Applies to all women...
Fucking DO IT!
While I'd need to give it some thought, "Don't Believe A Word" probably #2 behind only "Emerald" for me.
Years ahead of their time

Sweet were a great band. Queen liked their sound it seems, as well.
This mix is very good, increasing the sound of the guitars made the song even more epic!
This song is like a studded fist to the face, and it doesn’t hurt. Another outstanding tune from Lizzy!
I think the best hard rock song ever!
Rest easy Phil ❤

Hmmm...Very special version! I Like it.
Lizzy Rocks.
Sounds like a remix more than a remaster... But still, another fine example of Brian Robertson's ingenuity 😮

Well..........Great !
As Metal starting through.........!!!

They remix the albums. Also, erased and re-did many guitar solos. I'm glad they did. The production in 70's sucked.
How'd you know? Interesting never the less. Btw, you got my last name, Lundqvist 😊
