She's an inspiration to all booktubers!! My channel is new & still very small but i aspire to be as good as her one day. She explains books in so much detail but is never boring. Plus like you said, all the books she recommends are amazing!! 🤗
This is probably weird, but I’ve had quite a bit of wine so I don’t care, but I just wanted to say, that you’re my favorite booktuber. Anytime I get notification that you’ve posted a new video I scream and my husband gets very confused. I love your content, and all of your videos put a smile on my face, so thank you!
Biblio Bri Reads agree 100%. Rehab speaks well, has screen presence, is not too formal but too casual either, her opinions are well thought out and insightful, and each video has something of substance to impart. There aren’t too many booktubers who tick all these boxes (little book owl is the only other one I can currently think of) and I could go on by sharing my (negative) opinions about other booktubers for comparison, but as I know some watch this channel, I don’t want to be that mean person.
@@yusratahir96 you are very welcome! Happy reading 😊 im planning on reading Elantris to start...maybe this month or next. If you need a reading buddy let me know
You are so refreshing. I've been watching other people do book reviews and they always seem to be SO critical and pick at every little thing. You, however, are so positive and actually make me want to read these books! You describe them in a way that really awakens my curiosity and passion for books again. So thank you!
1. Wundersmith - Jessica Townsend 2. Scythe - Neal Shusterman 3. Warbreaker - Brandon Sanderson 4. The Bear and the Nightingale - Katherine Arden 5. An Ember in the Ashes - Sabaa Tahir 6. Spinning Silver- Naomi Novik 7. Foundryside - Robert Jackson Bennett 8. The City of Brass - S.A Chakraborty 9. Queen of Air and Darkness - Cassandra Clare 10. The way of Kings - Brandon Sanderson
Girl you're glOWING!! You look amazing 😍 Also 31k pages is insANE, congratulations!! Scythe was also one of my favorite reads of the year! I'm so glad you liked it because it was sooo good oh my gods, I'm so excited for the third book! Also, I've been debating on whether or not I should pick up An Ember in the Ashes and you've helped me decide for it so thank you 😩👌🏽😩👌🏽😩 I was surprised Kingdom of Ash wasn't in your list though 👀
I'm planning on starting The Way of Kings at the tail end of the month. I know I will fall in love, as I tend to with every Sanderson book I've read. Foundryside is also on my TBR. I've heard it's kind of a steampunk fantasy, which is something that's always intrigued me, but have never read. My favorites this year have been The Diviners series, Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, The Wayward Children series, Sadie, Becoming, Six of Crows, and The City of Brass. 💕
You are definitely my favorite Booktuber! I absolutely love the way you explain each story and your in depth reviews on each of the books you’ve read! Love, love, love it! Literally love watching you daily because you help me improve the way I explain things lol 😊❤️
Since you've basically read almost all the Brandon Sanderson books now - would you consider doing a sort of ranking - like which book/series so far have been your favorite?
JEM CARSTAIRS I couldnt get Into the stormlight archives, tried to read it twice last year, managed to get a 100 pages in, hoping I'll get lucky the third and finally time, Brandon Sanderson has never disappointed me yet
@@SElyas96 It's a little slow at first but if you push through the first few hundred pages I think you'll really like it. The book seems daunting initially with the complex world, magic system, multitude of terms, and large cast of characters but once you get acquainted with all of that the pages fly by and you get sucked into the story. Even when you're tempted to give up I suggest you push through until you get at least 200 pages in before considering dnf'ing book. This series is absolutely amazing and I'm pretty sure it's going to be my favorite series of all time by the time it's over.
I absolutely loved the Brandon Sanderson books I read last year as well. They made it into my top books of the year. I love all your recommendations! Fabulous job!
I absolutely LOVE huge series bc i get what i call "the last chapter blues." LOL i have a bad habit of picking single books and reading them until the last chapter and not wanting it to end so i never finish them. With series it feels like i get to enjoy the books more because its like even if you finish the first book you have more to look forward too. Idk i'm a horrible reader in the sense that it's like a mini depression after i finish one so i hate to finish books and there for i don't read as often as i want too unless it's a LARGE series.
Same omg!! I have like 8 books that im reading since more than a year that I actually love but I have endings so I stopped reading them so it doesnt end. Im also scared to forget the story so much, but for adome reason I firget it less if im only in the middle of the book than if I finished it lol
Foundryside is hands down my favorite book I read of the year! I really struggle explaining it to people too but I think you did a good job. I can’t wait for the next one!
I love your videos so much. It’s amazing how u read exactly the same books that I love and enjoy. It’s always so amazing seeing your view on everything and please don’t ever stop :P
I read TWOK and WOR in 2018 and my oh my... they took over my life and Stormlight is probably my favorite series ever? Currently reading Oathbringer and I’m just having the time of my life
I read The Way of Kings after watching some of your vlogs where you talk about reading it and it was also one of my top books of 2018! I'm going in to 2019 with the plan on reading the rest of Brandon Sanderson's novels because of how much I loved the Stormlight Archive series!
I also LOVE the Winternight Trilogy, Embers Quartet, and Queen of Air and Darkness (and the entire Dark Artifices)!! I of course want to read everything else you mentioned❤️
I absolutely loved The Poppy War, and its sequel is due out in the summer. I have read the first two books in The Grey Sister trilogy and cannot wait for the third book this spring!!! You should absolutely check those out.
I only watched this video to see if she mentioned the way of kings because i love it so much and now i have the confirmation that it‘s the best book ever😂
Brandon Sanderson really is a fantastic storyteller, I have read five of his books so far (original mistborn trilogy, Elantris and warbreaker) and I think I’m gonna read his newest release skyward next. The first way of kings book has been sitting on my bookshelf for like 1 1/2 years because for some reason I’m terrified to start it even though I enjoy long high fantasy novels, I don’t know what it is. But I’m going to make it one of my reading goals in 2019 to finally start this series so fingers crossed 🤞🏻
i wish i could erase my memory so I can discover the Stormlight Archives again and again and have the same mindblowing experience. So jealous you've yet to discover them !

I love this list! Since you really enjoyed Foundryside, I would recommend City of Stairs by the same author. It's an incredible fantasy series full of gods and murder and kick-ass protagonists. It's honestly one of my favorite series of all time, and I think you would really enjoy it.
I bought Nevermoor and its now part of my physical tbr, I’m so excited to get to it, it sounds so fun and magical!! I really need to read Scythe, it sounds so good and so many people loved that book this year!! ✨
I read scythe because of you just before 2018 and it's honestly the best decision i've ever made!! That and Thunderhead ended up being my favorites of the year :)
Lifel1k3- Jay Kristoff, Orphan Monster Spy- Matt Killeen, Wishtree- Katherine Applegate, and the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay- J. K. Rowling some of my favorites last year
I think you should do like a... “prettiest books in my collection” video. Have people done that already? I’m obsessed with special editions or just super pretty books in general.

Mom and dad got me The City of Brass for my birthday in June, glad I had asked for it. Also loving Sabaa Tahir's A Reaper at the Gates, almost finished.
I give 2018 to The Poppy War, while it wasn't a 5 star read or the best book I read of 2018, it's the first time in years I've been excited for the future of a new young author! And she's writing Grim Dark fantasy!

I’m reading The Bear and the Nightingale right now which is really strange since the last book I read was Spinning Silver. They are very similar in many ways. I’m finding both to be slow reads for me but I’m powering through.

Which of his books/series do you think are a good starting place for someone who hasn't read long fantasy books for a few years?
You could start with Elantris or Warbreaker, both are the first books in their series, but he hasn't written the next yet. They are not that long and it's a great way to start diving in the cosmere! Then you could continue with the Mistborn series or the Stormlight archives... either way, I'm jealous of you for be able to read them for the first time, he is truly the best fantasy writer ever! Happy reading!

Foundryside is currently in transit to my local library for me based on your recommendation.
I read A Torch Against The Night before I read An Ember In The Ashes. I do know the story of Ember but should I read ember first or continue with A Reaper At The Gates?
I made it my priority to read alot of books that you recommended in the last year and I loved nearly all of them 😍(Poison study; the thief; girl of fire and thorns) but I was very disappointed with the demon king 😅 i'd love to know if you loved the series from the beginning or if it had to grow on you 🤔
