Reminds me a lot of my relationship with my mom. Since I was little, my plan was to leave, to cut contact with her make sure she never has a way to speak to me again. That I will truly feel safe and happy out of the reach of her words. The words she thinks can set me free are exactly the ones that make me need to find reasons to live.
