This is amazing. Mike Fitz..... I've never come across somebody that is so clearly doing what they are meant to do in this world, moreso than you. ❤️❤️
Wow just massive and very impressive 😮 it’s amazing what the bears are capable of achieving. Just beautiful 😍 Thank you for this very educational video. I Learned so much more today.
Makes you appreciate what the bears have to go through to get a meal. And also how well they tolerate conditions day after day that we couldn't withstand for even an hour or so. Well done, bears. And well done, Mike and Roy. After all, there was no guarantee that a stray bear wouldn't show up while filming this. Course, if you'd been wearing salmon colored suits, things might have gone differently. :)
It was really great footage. I laughed when you said you were getting cold and expending a great deal of energy in the whirlpool area. You two together probably don't weight as much as one of the Big boy's who frequent that spot in the river. Thanks for sharing this video. ✌❤🇨🇦🙏 KEH
Thank you for these great videos. Really adds to our knowledge of bear behavior and their strategies to catch salmon. Amazing how they can move through the water and strong current seemingly without much effort. I am watching this around August 8th and my favorite is Otis sitting in his office. He was in his office for hours today.

Great video. We were there last July. Seeing this video, I'd love to return. Thanks for sharing with everyone.

So awesome to see. Thank you Ranger Roy and Ranger Mike! :))
Great video. I kept watching for a bear to sneak up from behind...

This is an excellent illustration and conversation to help human observers understand what bear senses and perspectives may experience.

Did the GoPro not work?
I didn't, unfortunately. We didn't find out until we were done.
And with all that great information they never caught a single fish! :))
