I Hope The Spider-Totem will be the main plot in this movie cause it was main reason why all different variants of Spiderman are connected to each other.
When you pointed out the joke about "I can see the future. and then someone throws something. See it doesnt work", I also remembered this also happened in NWH with Andrew Spidey. This kinda connects to my thoery in a way that Madame Web's precognition is actually a supreme version of spider-sense. While most spider people only sense danger 5 seconds before it happens, she can sense it 5 minutes before it happens and know all the details. It would make sense considering her strong connection to the web of life/destiny. Hopefully, the movie actually points this out or at least implies this and not just leave it at "she has precognition thats all"
I am so glad the trailer finally came out for this movie. It has been talked about for years on the concept and casting for the film. These popular spider ladies finally getting focus in this live-action debut. Most of these characters already had their animated treatment throughout the years but seeing them live is really cool. I'm curious about actor Tahar Rahim takes on Ezekiel Sims and how he is going to portray him. To be honest I hope the post credit scenes introduce Cindy Moon/Silk... Here is the breakdown of the characters in the film: •Dakota Johnson is playing the 1st Madam Web/Cassandra Webb a paramedic in Manhattan whose psychic abilities allow her to see within the spider world....This is before she go into the chair •Sydney Sweeney as Julia Carpenter/Spider-Woman And the 2nd Madam Web. •Celeste O'Connor as Mattie Franklin/Spider-Woman The niece of J. Jonah Jameson and the third character to be called Spider-Woman. •Isabela Merced as Anya Corazon/Araña The Latina daughter of a Puerto Rican father and a Mexican mother. It looks very much like, "A young Madame Web defends three Spider-Women-to-be against an evil Spider-Man from the future," and honestly... I'm not complaining. It's an interesting premise. And having the VILLAIN with Spidey-powers is downright scary. I'm intrigued.

Madame webb's precog ability could be links to the web of life and could be a upgraded or true form of the spidey sense. As to the 3 girls their julia carpenter (2nd spiderwoman after jessica drew and the new madame webb in the comics), anya corazon(whose powers are more mystical in natural) and mattie franklin ( j. Jonah jameson's niece who got power in the storyline the five where og madame webb got younger). Non the main antagonist is ezekiel sims in the comics he's the one who tell peter about the web of life, the spider totem and the inheritors(spirit totem vampire terminators who hunt and feed of animal totem across the multiverse) also he is the own who locks away cindy moon aka silk to protect her from the inheritors due to her being and entity known as the bride who along side the other and the scion are essetially the mortis gods for the spiderverse so to speak. My guess this ezekiel is either working for or trying to stop the inheritors by killing other spider people basically starving them out of food. All in all hopefully this movie does better than morbius.

She's more of like the support of the team doing the planning and strategies. Having her on your side means she can prevent so many fatal incidents. She's a badass. Weird that she's portrayed as a young Cassandra Web hanging out with young Uncle Ben. I guess we get a little more history of May Parker and Ben Parker with an influence of Cassandra Web. I hope the ending will be Mary Parker giving birth to Peter Parker. Because this movie is going to be based on Madame Web (Cassandra Web's younger years) with young uncle Ben Parker with his sister Aunt May Parker and Peter Parker's parents (Mary and Richard Parker). I can't wait. I love prequels and history before Peter Parker's time.

It's funny seeing all the "It looks like a fan film" and it looks like "The CW" comments, because this is shot to look just like the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movies (especially the 2012 one) - movies everyone apparently loves now? Heavy on practical costumes and practical stunts with a budget probably at or under $100M. Not saying it looks good, because I'm not sure it does, but this is what movies kinda look like when you don't spend $250M.

Director SJ Clarkson was hired as director 1 year after (2020) the script written, and must've known it was a bad script so she hired two other women to help her rewrite the movie. Finger crossed her new story is better than what the Morbius writers came up with. I'm kind of cautiously optimistic because the fact it doesn't look to be a CGI fest might indicate the director/writer is going to make it more character and story driven instead.
I don't want to seem negative, but the acting and dialogue in just this trailer alone to me seems insanely bad and cringey. It's giving me vibes of CW or Final Destination levels of acting and dialogue. The trailers for Morbius were actually pretty good and had a pretty dark, serious, and interesting tone, but the movie turned into of the biggest failures in comic book history. If this movie is already giving insanely bad vibes from the first trailer, then I'm afraid there's not much hope for this movie to be good or be financially successful. The trailer for the Kraven movie looked and felt way cooler and better than this movie's trailer.
Whats more to say? Another sonyverse movie... Ehh... I would hope after this flop rights to these characters like Madame Web, Venom, Carnage, Spider-Woman come back to marvel studios for them to respect these characters... But we can already see it will be hardly a "flop". Its clear Sony didnt believe much in the project and it has very low budget, so it will be a very safe loss, if any.

Hell, they had to blackmail marvel studios with taking back spiderman rights to push their version of venom into mcu after credits scene for literally 30 seconds and then Disney sent that Venom back straight to sonyverse.
They're using the Spider-women. So it's more a Spider-woman movie over being Spider-man adjacent. Julia Carpenter (the red head) was a known character not really connected to Spider-man besides using a mock up of the black suit. She was also a Madame Web. Anya isn't all that connected to Spider-man, either...
To be fair, we thought the Morbius trailer looked ok too but didn’t like the movie as much as we thought we would 😅

I would hope after this flop rights to these characters like Madame Web, Venom, Carnage, Spider-Woman come back to marvel studios for them to respect these characters... But we can already see it will be hardly a "flop". Its clear Sony didnt believe much in the project and it has very low budget, so it will be a very safe loss, if any.

They reference sonyverse as much as lego and mcu. + animation will always be from the get go "of higher" quality, because unlike movie, you have to really think about all the scenes, cause there is so much more work going into every frame. So again - spiderverse is one of the best superhero movies up to this date. Sonyverse movies like Venom, Morbius and now I think i can safely assume Madame Web - one of the worst. For an obvious reason. They dont even try to hide those movies are basically a scam. Advertised as a part of mcu, or having connections to spiderman, when in fact both will never appear on screen in any sonyverse movie. Hell, they had to blackmail marvel studios with taking back spiderman rights to push their version of venom into mcu after credits scene for literally 30 seconds and then Disney sent that Venom back straight to sonyverse.

They're using the Spider-women. So it's more a Spider-woman movie over being Spider-man adjacent. Julia Carpenter (the red head) was a known character not really connected to Spider-man besides using a mock up of the black suit. She was also a Madame Web. Anya isn't all that connected to Spider-man, either...
