Thanks a lot for the lesson! I'll try my best to learn it

You are doing a fantastic job with these lessons man! Deeply appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
Why is your tone spot on for every hendrix song you do, that’s amazing, good teaching as well!!!!
He truly was a master... he took all his influences to the next level.
Hey man i just wanna say youre my absolute favorite guitar Teacher. Im 23 and i grew up on youtube lessons for 11 years. i mainly learn by ear now but always come back to your for references on anything that involves hendrix , and SRV ... youre extremely precise man and you are doing me and a lot of others a massive service , please never stop . and im gonna donate and subscribe to guitarforce finally. about time i did , i owe it too you man, thanks a lot. - Jake
I hit like before I watched , that’s for teaching me little wing SRV 😎
Same here bro !
Great job Alex, thumbs up. Your playing proves how difficult it is to actually execute the song correctly like Jimi.
For sure, when I want to learn a song, and I see that YOU did it, I am watching! You are the best guy out here! Thanks a lot.
I love the Fillmore East show, will be learning this one for sure
You should check out the 2016 release: Machine Gun Live at the Fillmore East 1st Show. It's a fantastic companion piece to Band of Gypsys
That’s a cool history lesson. I had never heard about Jimi breaking his E. So the scatting by Buddy Miles was improvised and it’s one of my favourite parts of the song. You nail it, note for note. The guitar playing that is.
I needed this so bad!!! Thank you man!
Fantastic ! Superb lesson. Thank you so much. 👌🏽👍🏼🎸
Great to see this! Machine Gun from that night is another of my favorite pieces of guitar playing ever. Pretty challenging for my current level of expertise, but something to work toward.
csk137 hell yeah that’s my favorite Hendrix song!
Thank you for making these only one on here man rock and roll
Excellent! Also the explaining part is very interesting.
Thanks a lot! Teacher No.1 on YT, keep on!!!!
FANTASTIC , thank you Alex
I love that song. great job.
I found this a bit tricky at first but so cool. I love it thanks mate great stuff
Good stuff, son! Thank you for posting. I used to be a Nashville session picker in the 70s and 80s, and was also a big Hendrix-freak. Band of Gypsies was the first Hendrix album I ever bought. Great to see I'm not the only one who recognizes Jimi's greatness. Imagine what he could have accomplished had he not taken so much dope.
Never knew Jimi broke a string during that second break thanks for sharing that info
Thanks 4 this one...Add the Billy Cox bass line and WOW......
great lesson,,,,,,,,love the lesspns
I appreciate this so much Man U have no idea..
Oh man this is amazing
Excellent.
Excellent video!!
Importante quem elaborou o estilo!
Loop Timestamps:
Opening Riff - 16:01 - 16:36
First Solo - 16:58 - 17:22
Broo I could never figure out those pre bends thank god this exists
Thank you sir. Brilliant.
Awesome job! Please do Message of Love!!!
Alex Hardy I second that, Alex and Alex. You nail the Hendrix stuff and I've never seen a good Message to Love lesson like you're capable of doing.
Nice work! Is this available on your patreon?
You're killing it in 2019
Great lesson! It sounds more accurate one tab note down though
What amp and effects did you use for this video? I like the sound....
great lesson
Nice work.
I'm gonna buy it, for sure.
Thank you very much! I really appreciate it!
@@GuitarForceCom and I will buy the cream crossroad solos lessons too… what a fantastic work you're able to do !!…… cheers
YAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSS!!!!!!!!
Band of gypsies was the best band he had....he funk. rock.& blues going on with that band.. the band of gypsies was to heavy for some at that time....that was the group that got more BLACK people listening too him ... some people didn't like the idea of black rock band and that was so sad because the BLACK MAN started rock n roll...chuck berry..little Richard...fats domino...jimi took it to another LEVEL...!!!
Thank you
vous êtes énorme Monsieur!!
Really COOL!
thanks
Yes!
I never knew that about the broken string. So was Buddy's epic scat solo totally unplanned?
Totally! That was a great improvisation, talking about the talent!
yaaaaas alex
Lessson jimi hendrix who knows
wirklich super!
👌👌🔥
10:50 you mean his left hand ;)
It's funny it's the same notes as creams sunshine of you love, but played with different timing.
What tuning is this
Eb
The mechanics are spot on but Hendrix employed more strumming between the solo phrases. Moreover, this groove is overall played with more funkier groove. BOG after all was essentially a black band. on the video look at Hendrix is basically grooving and moving in place; he's just not standing there playing the song straight up
awesome lesson but the riff actually doesn't start there. does throw a lot of people off so its understandable
5 minutes of yappin
8 minutes before the tabs folks, thanks, but lol, .... get on with it
I wonder if Jimi Hendrix played it right.who knows.
MUCHO TEXTO BRO
Blablabla
way too much talking. Couldn't take it anymore.
Rio much bla bla bla!
Not good...Mr Alex
Great lesson. About 20 minutes too long. Two minutes of guitar info in 22 minutes. Use your time to practice practice practice. There’s no secret. Everyone learns at different rates, but it all comes from practice practice practice. Wood shed, get good ,try again Thanks for your great examples very helpful
What do you mean it's 20 min too long? I don't get it. I mean did you already know how to play this tune cause that's the two min video you seem to want. Here's a two min video for all you players who know how to play this already (oh wait there's three of you that need that video)...
Nice lesson Alex ..
