Im trying to clarify some twin facts. Identical means you came from one ovum ( egg) from mother and one sperm from father that split in half early in development. Identical twins also share one placentia. Fraternal twins come from two eggs AND two sperms. They may appear so much alike, that people ASSUME THEY ARE IDENTICAL, but aren't because they have more than one sperm, ovum, or placentia. Identical means you are literally the same person as your twin! Fraternal twins have 2 placentias and can be 2 girls, 2 boys or 1 boy and girl. Identical are ALWAYS THE SAME GENDER, 2 girls or 2 boys. All twin pregnancies are considered "high risk" because they are "multiples". The twins also mentioned in this vlog they were "butt first" before being born. This is called a "breech birth" and also is another reason to perform a c-section. The easiest way for a baby to be born vaginally is head first. For all of the reasons and perhaps more... they were delivered c-section because they were "high risk" and doctors determined this was safest for Mama AND both babies. I hope this info helped.
