- I lived in Midtown, and honestly I loved living here. I didn't have a car and the proximity to everything was amazing!!!!
I lived right by Trader Joe's, Target, Marshall's, CAVA, Chipotle, Spa, Best Buy... I mean what more could a girl ask for????
It was a five minute walk for me, if that!
I lived right outside of Uptown, so it was a 20 minute walk to my office if I ever had to work in the office. I also lived right in between Dilworth and Plaza Midwood, which are my two favorite neighborhoods.
I furnished my apartment with almost all second hand pieces, whether I got them from my family, the thrift, or Facebook marketplace. Before moving out, I almost sold everything I bought at had a Net Zero profit!
If you have any questions on Charlotte Neighborhoods, what to do, my favorite spots and restaurants, please let me know!
A few of my favorites:
- Rosie's Cafe and Wine Garden
- Walking around NoDa in general
- All the breweries
- Charlotte Beer Garden (has so many local, US and International taps based on which floor you are on)
- Barcelona Wine bar (tapas restaurant)
- The Vintage
- Julia's cafe and books
- Fig tree restaurant
- The Crunkleton
- Curry Gate
- Optimist Hall
- Giddy Goat (they do sunrise yoga here with coffee!!!! amazing!)
- Thirsty Beaver Saloon (the best dive bar ever)
