Been really liking your reactions, while most people who react to op/ed just focus on the music and barely say anything, it's really interesting to see how you guys interpret what the show is about from the visuals, espescially if I already saw it. I'd like to recommend my favourite series Gintama for a reaction, Openings and Endings are great.

For context: This is a prequel that takes place a year before Kazuma (the protagonist of Konosuba) is Isekai’d. It’s like Harry Potter/Little Witch Academia, where it’s a Slice of Life story in school… for arc 1. The OP is sung by Machico, the singer for all of Konosuba’s media (Season 1, 2, the movie, the games, and the gacha.) The EDs we’re sung by Aqua, Megumin, and Darkness, but here it’s a duet between Megumin and Yun Yun (which they sung for a Character song before, which they rapped.) They do not do a side anime for everyone, it’s unnecessary since everything’s already covered in later volumes of the LN. Megumin has two Spin-offs (one before Konosuba and one during Konosuba), Dust (a side character who traded parties with Kazuma when drunk), and Vanir/Wiz (an antagonist/devil and a side character.) There’s also an adaptation of the gacha. Yun Yun (the girl with the ribbon and tie) is Megumin’s rival and is second best in the school and Megumin is the top of her class. 15:45 - It’s unrelated to Omori, the style is just the artist’s (who draws a lot of chibi art) and the cat is Megumin’s. This spin-off (and Konosuba) was created before Omori was a thing. Spoiler warning below for more context of KonoBakuen. Chomusuke (the cat) is the other half of Megumin’s teacher of Explosion and the teacher is Wolbach, the red head who is also an evil Goddess who represents Sloth. The first arc is school, the second arc has them go to a city in the second Season of Konosuba and how Megumin caused trouble for Kazuma’s party, and the third arc is how they affect the beginning of Konosuba and set up how she joins Kazuma’s Party. In school, everyone learns how to be a Chunni (eight grader syndrome) and save up skill points to learn Advanced Magic at Level 1. Tragedy happens and Yun Yun sacrificed her SP to learn Intermediate Magic and Megumin learns Explosion magic (which is frowned upon, due to it’s collateral damage, large SP and mana costs, and humans not being able to cast it even through their entire life span, and main usage being for construction companies. Megumin can use Explosion, but exhausts her and can only use it once per day (she’s a Glass Cannon.) Despite this, she’s the prodigy of the Crimson Demons and is one of the strongest Archmages in Konosuba. The reason why she’s the only one of the main party with a spin-off, is because she’s the main love interest and her spin-off is full of lore and foreshadowing for the LN that the movie covers. She also has the most character development and has the most effect on the world, around as much as Kazuma does. The duck you see in the ED, is actually based on Farfetch’d, the Pokémon and has the same Japanese name: Kamonegi, which she kills to get EXP and SP for Explosion. Wolbach, for clarification, is not the red headed girl next to the blue demon. That’s Arnes, a succubi and both of them are minions of Wolbach. Despite what it seems, Wolbach is very nice and risked capture again to teach Megumin Explosion and is of high morals and saved her from her other half with that same magic. In the main series, she also warns Kazuma to stay away from the hot springs to be safe from Hans (a poison slime) and his plan and relished her bond with Megumin. Konosuba and the spin-offs ended a while ago and the author is currently focused on their other LN series, Combatants Will be Dispatched!/Sentouin, Hakenshimasu! which also got an anime series (along with Hataage! Kemonomichi/Rise Up! Kemonomichi) and Combatants apparently is getting a season 2 sooner than expected, according to the author (when KonoBakuen and Konosuba Season 3 was announced at the same time.) Hope you didn’t mind the long comment full of lore.
If you haven't experienced the games, there's The World Ends With You openings, since it also has an anime, and both the anime opening and the openings to the original game and its sequel(Neo: The World Ends With You) are good.

This isn’t Season 3, this is the prequel/spin-off series. Season 3 was already announced and likely next year.
