In John Lennon Airport (Liverpool UK) I was SO excited to see Elton John, Bernie Taupin & the whole band. Ofcourse it was just by luck - in 1972 - I was 12yrs old with my 17yr old brother. Ofcourse they were all walking along at the airport - very small airport at the time. My brother asked Elton for an autograph but later on lost it!!! I shall never forget that day. Elton was SO polite too. I happened to be there at the time as my sister-in-law was going back to France - she's French. What an amazing time we had that day!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

So, I'll just stick to Elton John's Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me. It was one of my favorites, until I heard this version. It's absolutely, stunningly brilliant!! I listened to the first half of the song with my mouth half open!! It's by far, the best collaboration I've ever heard, of any song. This reminds me of those commercials decades ago advertising cassette tapes for recording music. Their claim was you couldn't tell whether it was a live or recorded performance. The ad line was, "Is it live or is it Memorex?" LOL
