Davie, this is one of the kindest, most generous, and simultaneously greatly entertaining segments on all of UA-cam.
Most UA-camrs are very jealous of their influence, and people in general are jealous of their money. This is awesome.

Davie, a guy who had difficulty speaking once, now connects youtube musicians under a "war" joke and supports twitch musicians. He acts like the kinda guy who does not care about anything with his monotone voice, but he has a kind heart. EPICO

Personally I think that the way he has been promoting others and donating lots of money is the position he has wanted to be in all along. He always has been happy to work with other youtube musicians, even in his early channel days. He worked with Rob Scallon on several projects years ago before either of them were big, and when Davie had a signature bass model made, he sent Rob the first one. He worked on a big music collab even while he was on his Africa vacation and only had his travel bass because he didn't want to break his promise. He wants to boost the music community of youtube in general, and wants to solidify the bass's place in music in the process.
Honestly he seems like the sweetest guy when he is not putting on his deliberately deadpan character. :)
