    Hello Ananya, how is your experience of the st louis city? In several websites St Louis is ranked as the highest crime rated city of US. How much do you agree to this? How big is the Indian community? Is it safe for single Indian girls to be able to live in St Louis?

      @AnanyaBheemaneni  5 місяців тому

      St.Louis University is really nice. But yes the crime rate is very high. I personally witnesssed a car robbery😅. But as of now I didn’t face any bad experiences. I can’t say that it is completely safe but it’s not that dangerous too. It’s just that you have to be careful. And the Indian community here has been growing so much since a year. Now you can find Indians in every other street of St.Louis 😅.

      @@AnanyaBheemaneni thank you for the feedback! Can you name some relatively safer neighborhoods near St Louis where one can rent apartment/ room for stay.

    Question 1) Was the consulate officer strict or friendly?
    Question 2) Was the consulate talk more like a formal interview or a casual chat?
    Question 3) How many minutes did your interview take, and did you notice how long it usually takes for others?
    Question 4) What things seemed important for getting approval in your visa interview? Like having a clear reason for your visit, showing all your documents, proving you have strong ties to your home country, and making sure your information is accurate and consistent
    Question 5) What is the combined duration for entering and exiting on the visa?
    Question 6) Is there a microphone placed in front for responding, and is there an audible communication through the glass door between the applicant and the officer? Can you specify the location of the gap in the glass door - is it in the middle or at the bottom for document exchange? If possible, estimate the gap's size in centimeters. Also, can you provide an approximate distance between you and the individuals in the queue behind you? Lastly, is there potential for your responses to be heard by those in the queue?

      1) The officer seemed strict only. He had a straight face. However, he approved the visa if the student answered the questions confidently.
      2) It will be more like a formal interview.
      3) My visa got approved in 90 seconds I guess. However, I also noticed some people had their visa interview lasted for almost 5 minutes. It just depends on the visa officer's mood and your answers.
      4) The important things are mentioned in the video right here. Please watch it. ua-cam.com/video/rk-mTsyrguA/v-deo.htmlsi=0rdsBrEP1Hb8H8bZ
      5) If the visa interview slot is in the morning then it would take around 1 to 1 and half hours for the whole process. If it is in the afternoon it might take somewhere around 2-3 and half hours.
      6) Yes. There will be a microphone and a speaker facing towards you. So that your voice is audible to the officer and vice-versa. However, due to a few background disturbances, I suggest you speak loudly. The gap in the glass door will be at the bottom/ at the height of your waist. The person standing behind you would be around 5 feet far from you. And yes, the person standing in the queue can definitely hear the answers that you say.
      I hope this answer helps you.
