New sub, my kind of fishing!!! Old school curly tail grub on an ultra light, pond fishing. It doesn't get much better than that!!! I agree with you, you can pick up some good tips from the pros on UA-cam, but they are fishing from $80,000+ bass boats with the best high tech fish finding equipment and the best gear money can buy from their sponsors. That's not the real world. I live near Lake Norman in NC but I fish mainly ponds near home, because of so many other commitments I don't have the time (or money) to deal with a boat. I can run down to the neighborhood pond for an hour after work or dinner, catch anything that will bite on my ultralight set up and I'm satisfied. I even like fishing with a jig and float from time to time. No better therapy in the world than watching and waiting for that float to go under!!!
Couldnt have said it better myself! i do plenty of catfishing and what not from my boat but its a budget build, nothing fancy and anything that costs a good amount of money took a while to get. I enjoy what i did in this video very much. always have. Thank you very much for subscribing!
yes sir good church bells.. i'm in the city and we don't have good ponds like when i was staying weekends at Grandma's and her friends had ponds in northen PA
I believe the jig and grub came from walmart years ago, so the jig is 1/16th oz, grub is more than likely a bobby garland. 8lb test mono for the line due to the chance of running into a decent largemouth bass. 5' ultralite rod and reel combo is a shakespear from walmart as well. Thank you very much for watching and asking questions! Take care 👍
