That transition from studio to stage at the 00:38 mark gives me the chills every time. So good!
Ardent Imagery
Agreed. It's pure genius.
Stunning!!
i think Sam Riley was a perfect Ian curtis, he need a Oscar
Siseneg Stam Hooky says that 24 Hour Party People's version is showing him better. Also, he says that he is too... kind in "Control"
The casting selection is perfection
I wish the rest of this performance was released... The faster tempo makes the song have more of a punch. In my opinion this is the best version of the song out there.
+ArrestedAngel yes i wanna the full version of this song i thinks its better than the original
+Soria Sonico watch the version off Something Else, it has a faster pace like this version and unlike this version, the actual band play the whole thing.
+Zed 1391 it's quite easy to find
And you found it ?? Please answer me
+Soria Sonico yeah if you type in she's lost control its one of the first results
These guys gave one hell of a performance. Excellent movie.
Great scene. Anachronism side note: the microphone recording the aerosol can didn't exist at that time.
Ha ha brilliant well done
All live performances in the film are performed by the actors!!! It's no coincidence that those four guys have played these roles. In their real life Riley is a singer, Pearson and Anderson play guitars and Treadaway is a drummer. That's why they should released the soundtrack with their performances!
Best cover of She's lost control ever
is it me or does she's lost control sound better played fast?
All their songs sounded better live in my opinion
This is better than the original one
WAT
The studio version preferred (Martin Hannett prod.)
Many of the live versions are faster. I agree this one plays better live and faster but for New Dawn Fades I prefer the studio slower version
I watched "Control" last night. What a brilliant film. What a brilliant band. Wow. 38 and still being wowed by music. Mint! Love you Ian
Love the transition into the live version. Sounds so huge.
Sam Riley was really singing in the movie go to Sam Riley control interview
Was there ever a full soundtrack made of the film? Because the performances in it are brilliant
I wish they did
I believe the actors of the band made actual covers of the song. i'm not sure if they ever recorded it into an album, but when the shooting was done, the acting band gave a full concert to the crew
i would love to hear this COMPLETE COVER version, sounds amazing
Watched the film again this week, it’s just a masterpiece.
Omg! Sam Riley's acting great...
molkicebo let's give some props to Samantha Morton. She did a bloody amazing job!
molkicebo his best film
The dude playing him is a good actor for the movie, but Ian looked like he was constantly uncomfortable in his own skin. This guy looks way more confident
the best version of she lost control, the scene from the studio to the stage looks epic, just amazing
Joy Division (in my opinion) is the greatest punk band ever.....
Seema Nasreddin punk? This is post punk
Post punk
Good movie
This makes me realise how unhealthy Ian actually looked back in those days.
yo did you ever see pulp fiction
@@airraan1692 big kahuna burger?
Definitely a deep movie. Admired Ian Curtis for his battle of depression with music. Unfortunately, back in the 60s a lot of mental illnesses weren't treatable.
+SirEatsBaconALot Indeed, but even in the late 70s psychiatric medicine was not what it is today. Add to that Curtis's ingestion of vast amounts of alcohol and downers on top of whatever passed for anti-depressants and seizure medication in 1979, on top of the genuine stresses of family and swiftly-growing fame, and you have a recipe for mental collapse.
Because Corbijn handed the cast instruments and said "Learn to play them BECOME the band" as such the performances WERE live.
38 years ago today ....RIP
Captures perfectly how loud and extreme this band was live
It's a shame there isn't a soundtrack of the movie with full tracks of this performances
When he danced like that he wasnt having an Epileptic fit, its just how he danced lol.
That spray can! Mystery solved. :-) I'll re-watch the movie soon, regained interest after buying several live-LP's recently.
Real suffering artists like Ian Curtis are actually lucky as theyve gotten love, respect and admiration for their suffering. Normally if a man shows weakness like this he'll be derided as a sad loser. Spose it helps if you've got genuine talent
I like how the live performance is had was speeded up just like in their reil liv eperformance
This performance is briiliant and so is the film
feel the same, the resemblance of the whole band is amazing
I prefer this over Jd's!
Sam Riley and everyone else looked and played their parts spectacularly!🔥🎸🔥🎸🔥
Absolutely topsiding, I bought Control on it's release, absolute 🔥🔥
I love the drummer
Buenisima película lastima que ya la quitaron del you tube
Damn, I need this complete track :/
I adore his voice.
JD ❤
damn good, i want the whole bio. may buy it next week along with the cure's trilogy and david byrne's stop making sense. watch these!
I love this band
i loved this scene!!! and the takes remastered whit live version!!!
Such a great film. Did Ian justice.
is the drummer Victor Frankenstein?
+Bea Perry Penny Dreadful. Yes! too cool! ahhahaaha
@WWAAK You are absolutely right. They looked so powerful man.
As long as it’s played
Love will Tear Apart our Heart and Soul while we are in Isolation, listening to the Transmission while having a Disorder watching the Shadowplay acting out the Dead Souls in a Digital television, while She's Lost Control?
@BobDylan1201 it was sam riley singing throughout the film. he did his own signing. but obviously it's joy divisions song.
Sounds awesome !
Bella zio!!!
performed by this guys, in my opinion, its nearly perfect :>
i want to hear it complete, performed by them...
This song is Epic.
Ian Curtis, lamento no poder vivido a tu lado.
They actually performed the songs.
This song looks Mr Brightside
Nadie como tú Ian.
Una confusion en sus ojos que lo dice todo!, ella perdio el controllllll
on the JD documentary, Sumner said that Morris almost passed out at the end of the songs b/c he used the aresol can ina small vocal booth
Ian obviously :P
INTENSE!!!
i need this version
Mi amado Ian Curtis.
He did have epilepsy, true.
But before he was diagnosed he saw the lady at the employment agency have an epileptic fit (like serberous said) and the song was about her.
live, he used a synth pad, you can see it on a video of the actual performance.
I just downloaded it off limewire
Skate 3💯
lol this is great, i can't wait for the movie to show up on dvd
I want t learn playng spray!
If only the original sounded like this... More powerful, no electronic snare, pure energy and tension
do yourself a favor and see this film, it's great.
maybe the best music movie in my opinion.
my old english teacher was an extra!!!
Aonde encontro a versão na integra dessa música?
❤️
Awesome movie, but I felt so bad for his wife, Debbie, throughout the whole thing
Inspirador!!!!!!!!!
SHE LOST CONTROL!!!!
'Mr Rochester'
😉
when they recorded it in the studio, it was the spray can... not live though. obviously.
this movies really good it called control
best part of the movie.
His voice just does not have that twinkle of darkness and desperation needed for such a big role like Ian. I mean he looks kind of similar. I think Ian was handsome and had a super unique voice, the guy made his voice sound like a phantom yo.
@vaughanography But the singer's voice at the beggining, you know, on the studio, sounds so much older and different from Ian's voice D:
I will be borrowing the movie from friend!
I like what i hear, and i'm honest, this kicks ;-)
Did they really use a spray can in the original tale of "she's lost control"?
They tried to. Got hard to breathe.
wow wiered i just noticed this version is faster than the real one.. x
And she gave away the secrets of her past
fuck yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
sam riley
they were.
Nobody get closer than robert simon and lol
My favourite JD song
Full throttle - She's Lost Control
on ur tv after uv bought the dvd
Who's singing in the beginning?
why not
Сээм, люблю 😻😻😻
what! you can't compare that to control :o
@ Seema Nasreddin : I hope that was a typo!!!!!!! I certainly hope that you've meant "Greatest Post-punk band ever" not "Greatest Punk band ever" -.- Geeeee!
I'm sorry but I'm little sensitive when it comes to Ian and JD 'cause.. they were greatest, indeed!!
She lost control, for me ,,, uuuuuuuuuuuffff
