Another former D1 tennis player here…although much older ( 35 years ago) A lot of skills do translate but there are definitely nuances that need to be learned to get to higher levels
Definitely better than 3.5. Closer to 4.5 Title inferred that it was the tennis players first game but he has obviously played quite a bit. That said. Everyone knows tennis players transition faster than other athletes because the skill sets to reach higher levels are similar.
That's a very strange forehand stroke for a tennis player. I would say either a very old school tennis forehand or even a table tennis forehand. However, it's very effective especially on serves (at least a dozen of free points off the serves) and that's all that matters.
Seems higher level than 3.5 to me
Agree!
Most definitely
4.0+
4.75 on a bad day but 5.5 on a normal day watch these guys in person person before
Absolutely
Yes he could probably win a tournament with a weeks practice too. It’s an activity meant for senior mobility
Haha very true. Have you ever played it though???

He moved up to the net very well. Definitely not his first time playing Pickleball.
Virtually all of the top professional pickleball players were once tennis players. I think they can "keep up".
D1 will be 5.0 in a month
Any of those games could have gone either way. I wish I could see 18:39 from another angle.
I wish the kitchen cam would have caught it
I think the answer is clear...... YES! It's not that hard.
Pretty solid playing
They look more like 4.0 players to me.

He’s got the trifecta on serve. It’s fast, spinny, and he spots it well
Def not 3.5. 4.0+ for sure. Great points.
This looks like 4.0
4.0 or higher in DUPR but probably rated 3.5 according to the people who works there is my guess
How did we lose that first game
Too many missed returns from me
