Napoleon Returns - Hundred Days Edit - Waterloo (1970)

Napoleon to submit meekly to exile. Calculating that the French people were dissatisfied with Bourbon rule and the coalition against him was bitterly divided, Napoleon escaped exile in Elba, slipped the British blockade of the island, and landed in the south of France with his retainers. Soldiers sent to interdict him instead flocked to his banner, and he swept back into power with ease.
The coalition, which had been on the brink of war, put aside their differences and immediately declared war on Napoleon personally.
Greatly outnumbered, Napoleon seized the initiative and marched his army towards Belgium to deal decisive defeats to the Prussian and British armies before they could rendezvous. This, he hoped, would force the coalition to offer him better terms, or give him more time to mobilize a larger army.

Thank you! This was my second edit I’ve made, but definitely my favorite haha. Unfortunately I’m banned from uploading now because I made a Wagner mutiny edit and I guess they’re a banned organization on UA-cam… but it was clear from the tone of the video that I don’t think they’re wonderful people lol
