Addiction is from the tripleS song tournament for their title track last year but it lost. Heejin said in her showcase earlier that she loved the song so much and requested Jaden to give her the song and now it's hers

This proves that Jaden Jeong...the evil tyrant that so many Orbits love to hate, is a mad genius. He has a hand in so much music that I love. I personally am grateful to Jaden for allowing the girls to sign with him and giving us more of this sonically beautiful experience. I don't hate Jaden Jeong. No one is perfect. Just treat the girls decently, pay them what they deserve, and give us this music, and we will always be good.

Loona didn't disband just fyi. They've clarified this on multiple occasions, everyone is just kinda doing their own thing and venturing into other stuff.

LOONA has been on fire this year, this is like another golden era, not even in predebut we had this much content, we have JJ's original vision for the group, we have Loossemble, Chuu shining as well.
yeah Addiction as an ending is insane, that relaxing beat and that chorus, is so good.
Video Game is my favorite! The whole album is amazing! Some of the lyrics to the songs are incredibly sad, especially Nokia got to me.
FYI, ADDICTION was a candidate for tripleS (OT 10) debut title track during GRAND GRAVITY. It's called as Song G back then

i did NOT expect to like addiction this much…i don’t think i’ve ever heard heejin play with her voice so much on a track and i loved every second of it!
Not sure if you caught the remake single she released early last year 'Honestly'? I feel like that was a preview to this album. Would've slotted right in. Overall 10/10 banger album. Top 3 - Video Game, Nokia, Addiction...for now haha

you have no idea how overjoyed i get when your reaction to my fav song on every album comes on and you have the exact same reaction 😭 addiction was one of tripleS’ demo song choices for their title track back when fans were voting for their pick, and it always stood out to me!!! i was so happy to see it be given to heejin because i’ve been waiting for SO LONG to hear it in full. her voice with the instrumental is just heaven and it’s definitely among my favorite songs of this year too ♡

Addiction was a contender for TripleS titletrack and was one of my picks (alongside Rising), I was hoping Jaden would keep it for TripleS as a promoted bside because I feel like the song fits a group more, I can picture different members harmonizing the butterflies part in the chorus but I ain’t complaining, I’ve been listening to it nonstop kek
for some reason some of the guitar in Nokia reminded me of watermelon in easter hay... Video Game is my favourite though...

I grew up listening to Jamiroquai and know that song well … can’t hear the similarity off the top of my head but I’ll listen to the song again later
@@fifizappareacts You'd be missing out on sooo much Fender Rhodes if you didn't like Jamiroquai, so I'm relieved! 😅 - the bit I think is the same is the chorus of the Jamiroquai song vs the verse in Addiction. Whilst the melodies and production values are completely different, the underlying harmonies sound identical to me.
