I had an 86 red on red convertible like this and sold it a few years ago, I have missed it ever since! You really can't compare this car to today's sport's cars, or especially to today's Corvette's, mainly because times have changed everything about these cars since then. I believe it was Road and Track car magazine, that was quoted back in the day when this car was new, that the C4 Corvette, was a great value at any price! These cars were coveted for there performance, handling, and good looks, and they got great gas mileage doing it! About 25 highway and 16 city, depending on condition now of course. If you are in the market for one of these, buy only the best one you can find, because they are pricey to restore, and the 87 is the sweet spot year for the C4 for sure. Today, this is a great looking car, and a fantastic cruiser. and if you live in California like I do, it does not get any better than that!
Well maintained ,mines a piece of junk, mind you I bought it on Ebay . Mines an 87 convertible , My bad for buying sight unseen ,traveling half way across the world and importing it to Australia but I own it and when I've finished with it ,it'll be a good car . I still love it ,hey look at it , what a classic looking machine.
I just bought this same car but i am having a problem with after a short trip and if im to try starting it again shortly after that is doesn’t want to start and i have to really pump the gas to get it to turn over
I have no idea, the car isn't ours and we never met anybody that has added power to them but I believe the #1 issue with this car is transmission so if I was building a C4 I would tackle that first. Thank you for watching!
Thanks you so much for that video I'm looking at one 1987 Corvette convertible here in Brookville Florida thank you for the video I'd need to Drive test Drive it.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Very cool car, wasn’t expecting the lights to turn like that!
Very fun car, yeah the headlights have a weird way of flipping unlike any other pop up headlight. Thank you for your support Colin.

If I were to buy one it would have to be a hard top, not really interested in convertible. Really fun car, thank you for watching!
Cool Blue Corevette Thanks for the info details are interesting

Great review and one of the prettiest color combos on a corvette.
Thank you! The color combo looks great and well taking care off. Thank you for watching!
I own an '89 convertible. I've found the cup holders to be useless. Other than that, I love the car.
Love the car the only thing I didn't like was the 4 speed. Thank you for watching!

Is there a way to make these C 4 Vette’s have more horsepower? Can you add power to the engine?
Great video and flawless car. 🚘 🇺🇸😎

Should get extra points because these are cheap by vintage car standards...and very available..
