- "Step Into My Life," was a song that I wrote for my 1990 world tour and that I used to name it. This video clip appears in the DVD "ENGELBERT HUMPERDINCK LIVE" filmed at the Birmingham Hippodrome and that was released in 2001.
I fell in love with Engelbert when I was 12 years old. My mom had his tape, and I loved his voice and the songs... she even took me to his concert, and I must have been the youngest girl there. I was so excited to get a poster for my room. Now that my mom has passed, every time I listen to his music I think of her... I do love him most when he has mustache... looks much more sexier... and not used to his face without it.
I think he looks good with a mustache, or without. Long hair, short hair, long sideburns or no sideburns. All great!!

I agree! I have liked many singers in my lifetime, but never had a list of my favorites. My list of favorites, are at least 30 songs.

8/22/17 - He is the most wonderful singer that we have had the privilege to hear for the past 50 years. I with he would include some of the music he wrote in his concerts. The words mean so much and he puts so much feeling into them. You think he is just singing to you. I know I do. Love you Enge. See you 9/10/17!!!
I have been a fan since 1967. He hurt my feelings in Tunica, I have followed his career since 1967. I guess once a devoted fan , you are always a fan.
What a beautiful song sung by the greatest singer in the world. I have never heard this song before.. I can't believe it wasn't an instant hit. No other voice compares to his talent and great looks.
Engelbert should have written more lyrics. I love this song. Step into my life reminds me of 1990 and my first Engelbert concert at the Universal Amphrtheater in LA. I have a hard time believing that it was over 20 years ago!! Thaks for a lifetime of memories. Daniel
