- This version of "Someone To Love" is the one that was released on the CD "Love is The Reason" and is different from the one that was released in Germany ( Lyrics and guitar solo in lieu of saxophone solo). This 1990 presentation is from the Joan Rivers Show. Hope it brings back memories.
This is an absolutely beautiful, moving song. I especially love THIS version rather than the newer version. The emotional ending of this song takes it to an entirely different level. The thing that differentiates Engelbert from all the greats is his ability to show true emotion when he sings. No one else even comes close. So beautiful and heartfelt!!!!
