in terms of possible suggestions: it might be a good idea to look into shotgun cards. they're shot shell carriers, elastic shell holders with velcro hook panel on the other side. typically what you do is get good quality 3M velcro loop adhesive panels, cut them out to fit your shotgun, stick one loop panel to the left side of your receiver, and the other to the right side of the stock (where you already have a carrier in your case), add holes where pins are on the receiver to clear those, etc.
then you have a shotgun ready to accept two shotguns cards, usually with 5, 6 or 7 rounds each. the 6 and 7 rounders fit perfectly into M4 pouches. and what you have is a quickly reloadable caddy: if you're empty, load the shells from the card on your receiver, which are right next to where they need to feed, rip off the empty card and replace it with a full one that you can pull out of your mag pouch -- now you have a loaded tube and more ammo ready to load on your shotgun.
this may not be as easy to do on the KS7, I'm not familiar with that one, but maybe you can figure it out. it could be a more streamlined system for you, since it's easier to just swap out the cards and load the way you would from a caddy on your receiver.
also, might be a good idea to check out Condor 7 pocket chest rig. it's very inexpensive, you'll fit at least 6 cards into the mag pouches and it has two large pouches on each side for your medical and your general pouch use. again just a suggestion, but it's a very nice budget rig that would give you more ammo and remove the two dangling pouches that you could use better on your belt.

I would be happy to have you in a group. Some permanently reliable shell holder suggestions, "choate competition shotgun ammo carrier 12 gauge 6-round and 2-round belt loop composite black". Keep up the good work, be the good guy.

If you're looking for to hell and back compass. Used by the American military for decades. Get yourself a Cammega compass. Cost about $85 for the standard model. There are Cammega compasses that have tritium on the scale for glow in the dark direction scale. Only lasts for 15 years. So get the standard compass. The standard compass will last forever. There are two numbered scales on the platter. One shows a 360 degree scale. The other is a NATO Mil-radian scale. The Mil-radian scale shows 6,400 directions for accuracy. Your choice of 360 degrees or 6,400 Mils. Available from MidwayUSA, Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops. Also directly from Cammega.
Another great compass is the Brunton transit compass. About $500 each. Also has an altimeter angle to show the angle of incline. Get the military model to get NATO Mil-radians. The engineer model has a standard Mil-radian scale of 6,283 Mil-radians.

Watched a video that the maker used a Rit Company dye called "Candy Apple Green." Soaked the ACU pouches in the Candy Apple Green for about 45 minutes. Darkens that stupid ACU color to a perfect darker green camo color.
