This was a fantastically done video, and I was considering each of these headsets, so your video helped tremendously for me to choose, and I went with the HS80 MAX because as an older adult, my hearing has changed and the customizable setting is very appealing to me. I did not know that was even available, so Thank you!
first video that actually showed the bluevoice. Everyone shitting on the mic, but never enable bluevoice , sounds pretty good to me with the blue voice
Whats not to like haha ? The way you individually compare the important aspects of the top tier headsets available the moment! You really fokus on the details that matter! Sound....mic....comfort....etc. People can really trust your opinion when it comes to gaming headsets! In other words....we can count on you when it comes to honest and unbiased reviews! So again thank you for that @@TheProvokedPrawn
yea i went with the hs80 max too. better mic, better battery, $80 cheaper and it has swivel. no brainer for me...only downside is the earpads, arent really comfortable
logitech is one of the very few headset makers that actually have some LFE and they will go down to 10hz. Plus they get LOUD.. many of the "gaming" headsets top out around 40-50hz and have zero LFE and very overemphasized high bass which makes them sound boomy and hollow.. prime example being this corsair headset. 55hz is the low and subdued low bass.. automatic pass for me.
i just bought a pair of these and found them to be on the lower side of other headsets as far as volume goes. i have to game at 100 % and even then the seem to be not loud enough for me. not to mention my mute button doesnt seem to work at all. what volume are you gaming at and considering them LOUD? thanks
@@TunaForever well I have the logitech G935, and for example playing COD I have them around 45-50. Much more than that and it's uncomfortably loud. for music and youtube maybe about 60 or 70 depending on what i'm listening to. So I don't have these logitech pro's, I was just commenting on the frequency response and LFE that these have based off what I've read/seen. I don't own them personally so I can't speak to their loudness. I assumed it would be the same as the g935's. if the volume isn't, than that's disappointing.
Yo i know im late af but mkae sure u turn off audio enhancements in sound settings that fixed it for me :) Please respond if you see this and let me know if that helped you!@@TunaForever
just from listening to you speak, i feel like i prefered the logitech, the corsair seemed like it had something strange going on with it, like a whooshy compression
I never seen anybody speak on this but the Corsair HS80 scratches just looking at it. Within the first 2 days of owning it just picking it up putting it on, setting it down already has scratches on the ear cuffs. Where the headset swivels the metal actually hits the plastic and has scratches moving back and forth. Very poorly thought out by Corsair and terrible plastic quality. Not to mention the vol wheel always getting adjusted NON STOP just putting it on my head. Very very annoying.
just bought the pro x 2, the mic is pretty bad over discord, and the sound is "muddy". wouldn't recomend it for $250, but if you find it on sale, sure.
On reddit it says Corsair HS80 Max has a constantly disconnecting issue and ICUE software dropping the headset every once in a while. Apparently no youtuber has this issue
Yes absoluetly, i bought the HS80 and I had these issues. Do not buy this piece of garbage. I also checked reviews form a bunch of youtubers and nobody had this issue ridicoulus
How did they ruin such a great mic on the MAX. The Logi is the better headset but the MAX even if its worse than the non MAX mic is still better than Logi mic.

Exactly yep without blue voice yes it’s trash but with it enabled sounds really really good
The only youtuber that ACTUALLY knows what the viewers wanna see🔥 Keep it up brother ! Just got the g pro x2 for 200€……love themmmm!
Very kind. Out of curiosity what did you like about the video?

Thank you for making this video! Still going with the hs80 max, the g pro x 2 is very expensive for me.

@@eujin-dg2ddare you using the stock ones?
Can you compare Corsair HS80 USB To Wireless and Max? Some people say it has the best sound and mic cause of usb
Would love to see/hear that comparison as well!
for the same price which one you would choose?

That's not happening to my HS80, maybe you got QC issues with your unit, My only issue is with the rubber/plastic part under the top headband.
@@H3SO88 You obviously aren't looking close enough. Start look at the plastic and you will see the flaws.
Idk what you've been doing to/with it, mine's just fine after weeks of use, no scratches to speak of.
Got a cat in there, perhaps?

Wicked Terminator skulls. do they sell them online?
The silver one was off Amazon. The other is a Steam Punk skull. You might be able to find it online too

Probably Logitech but there's not much in it.
