So many people know about JiKook having matching rings, but this is a COMPETELY DIFFERENT STORY!
All I'll say is that there was some rather suspicious behaviour happening on the day Jungkook graduated from SOPA on the 7th of February 2017. Watch for yourself and let me know what you think in the comments!

Jk said in the car finally that he had graduated which meant he was no longer a child so he could pursue jimin and be together that's what I think I assume it's a promise ring that certainly worked they have loved each other for 10 years such an epic eternal love story ❤❤

It seemed odd that it was JK's graduation but from JHope's reaction, it seems that JK bought the ring as a gift for Jimin. It is evident from Jikook's conversation in the car that Jimin especially has been waiting for JK to graduate and become an adult. After this their relationship jumps to a more intense level when JK buys Jimin a trip to Disneyland for his birthday. Jikook come back from that trip very clingy and with couple rings.
I’ve noticed that in Korean culture when it’s their Birthday they often give a present/cake to their mother for giving birth to them. So it might be a similar thing giving a gift to your loved one as thanks even though it’s your Graduation which is different to Western culture. Remember they went out to dinner to celebrate but Kookie paid where as in Western culture we would expect everyone else to chip in and pay. I hope that makes sense 😐
He asked JM to be his boyfriend officially as, he had now graduated high school and was of legal age. JM waited for him, as he is older and wanted to do everything right. They went to Japan and was a honeymoon of sorts for them. They both came back with wedding rings, and I am not sure that they truly are still together. Mostly, because of Jimin and his changing heart and Jungkook’s love for Suga.

Also remember they spent white day which is the Korean Valentines day together when Jk debuted in NY and Jimin stayed 4days with him,we saw them dancing to Seven choreography on a boat,we saw them caught going out to dinner and even during Jk's live when he was asking Jimin if he can come over so they can do the live together, jk even said he will come with his toiletries so he can bathe at Jimin's house.
I'm sure all these shows nothing has changed.

I read that engagements in Korea are usually formal events with family and friends. So that may have happened out of the public eye. I don't know. Hobi does want to draw particular attention to the ring.

I have a theory on this one. When Jhope said to Jimin "you're alive" same as with JK, it could meant that they have given themselves that promise ring with the approval of their parents..that the parents approve of their relationship when they had those rings.
I think this is a really good guess! Seems like the ring had something to do with a bold action of theirs, doesn't it? 😁🥰

As in, "You told your parents and you're still alive?" That sounds like something JHope would say.😅 Too bad there have been Soooo many Interruptions and Soooo many Distractions along the way. Oh well. That's what happens in real life, too.

Thanks for doing this video, I’ve always wondered about this, as well. It confused me because of the way Hobi reacted, in Western cultures people would do that to a girl after seeing an engagement ring. Being somewhat new to BTS, it just confused me so much why he would do that to Jimin and why Jungkook was blushing.

I had always wondered about that whole live. Jhope ended up leaving because he felt like the third wheel. But when I heard your still alive from jhope it sounded like something you would say to someone after they told their parents they are getting married. And your not sure of the reaction
There has just been a comment possibly clarifying the translation a bit but I agree. Even with an ammended translation, the "are you still alright? Are you still in a good condition?" implies something might have happened that could possibly have changed that! 😆
That was also my first thought, that they have outed themselves to JK's parents. My second thought was quite simple - an exhausting day with many obligations and therefore the remark "you are still in a good mood" Suga would already lie on the sofa for hours.

Jimin has rings on both hands. Also, the translation as it is in the video is correct. It's been confirmed by native Korean speakers. The words "to be alive" and "the livestream" at not at all similar in Korean. Anyhow, thanks for commenting. 💜

I feel like it could’ve been Jungkook talking about current Jimin versus past Jimin. Like current Jimin and all of BTS have ‘come up’ so much where they can purchase expensive things like chrome hearts rings. Now they’ve made it, opposed to the first picture where Jimin wasn’t wearing any rings because BTS couldn’t afford stuff like that. When Jhope comes in and talks about Jimins rings I think there is probably a behind-the-scenes conversation about ‘oh yeah now we’re have more money and are big-time and jhope was teasing JM about a large purchase. Jungkook seems to be involved because maybe he was with Jimin when he bought the rings or they talked about Jimin making such an expensive purchase. This was before Tokyo trip when they got couple rings so I think Jimins rings were just a big purchase and Hobie was like wow you’re still good even after making this big purchase. If that makes sense

That’s because on Weverse and in Bangtan Bombs, you get what the company wants you to hear - not always what was said. That’s been shown over and over. The company sponsors JiKook. So you get this content.
@Hi I don't think this is true. You do get what is said but sometimes there are different levels of meaning that only a native speaker would know. There is a difference. Also, I believe suggesting the company "sponsors" JiKook is disrespectful to the members. If we love them, we should always trust the members actions and words are genuine and honest.

From everything I've seen over the years, the company content is remarkably consistent with what we see from sources the company does not control, such as fancams, 3rd party variety shows, award shows, interviews, etc. And there doesn't seem to be any logical reason the company would want to promote Jikook's relationship compared to any other relationship between the members.

Well if you like Jikook ok, but for me i'd interpret it as a big purchase by Jimin. Not a fan of shipping idols. I'm a Jimin stan and these were some of the things that made people, Army or not hate him during those years, because of shippers who create their own edited stories about all of them.
