just as an update since this was posted on march 14th: i absolutely stand by daenerys since the whole “mad queen” plot twist doesn't make sense. nor does it line up with her character development. she has never hurt innocent civilians on purpose. a key quote from her that should be noted is from season 3 episode 3, “the blood of my enemies, not the blood of innocents”. thus, this is how i will remember daenerys targaryen.
I agree. I'll point out another bit of nonsense with this. Supposedly she is hard on her enemies but helps-or at least tries to avoid hurting-the innocent. She has a grudge against her enemy Cersei (whom one of the D and D duo mentioned was now the focus for her anger after executing Missandei). So why would she give Cersei time to escape in order to burn civilians she would usually look out for-it is illogical and goes against more than 1 aspect of her character.
I love this, the coloring is so beautiful. This is what I'd show to someone who hasn't seen the show to make them fall in love with Daenerys as I have.
Wow long video, well thought out too- I 100% agree with everything you said in regards to her development minus the whole going to HBO haha. As your video shows, she's still trying to gain an identity for herself that fits with the type of ruling she wants for the people she's liberated and the 7 kingdoms themselves. It's apparent she still has moments where she is ruthless and could have done things a different way and you know it's going to bite her but I think that that is so important for her to realize hey, you messed up but now you're going to learn from it and find a better way of making decisions. All she's done has been not just for the throne, hell in a way she's completely thrown that out. She even says she wants to fight against the white walkers OVER the throne that that take priority so she's already chosen the good of the people over the home she believes is rightfully hers. I think that says so much more into that quote from Jorah- that she has a gentle heart even though she tries to hide it. I really loved the mix of songs you used for this video, and all the scenes chosen to showcase her journey from girl to woman to in all rights young queen. I'm dying until aprill all over again.
@@yumekojabami4179 Not sure what you mean but season 8 was pretty dumb and damaged many characters. Daenerys has largely been both sane and one of the better rulers in seasons 1-7. Season 8 is contradicted by earlier seasons and really doesn't belong in the story. They even messed up bells, as shown in season 2, don't mean surrender in King's Landing.
Just watching this I get more pissed off at D&D 4 making her snap. They basically isolated her by her companions dying along the way. No one I know would do it after she won the war.

Absolutely beautiful. Brilliance. Long live Daenerys Targaryen. Always apart of us.

oh my god this is a masterpiece
I'm rewatching these old videos because others portray her as the MaD QuEen. :/
And the mad nonsense is illogical and unjustified.

AMAZING!!
I😂just can't get enough of her.

Season 8 should be retconned. This was the real Daenerys, not the "Mad Queen" bullshit they gave us.
