Weather afraid Wisconsinite here. Thanks for the forecast. :) Over the last 10 minutes, the chance for rain has gone up 90%. Fully expect severe weather after your reasoning. Much appreciated. Stay safe spotting :). Edit: As ryan predicted, straight-line damaging winds are to be expected. 50-60 miles per hour!
This Kansas girl living in Wisconsin is excited for stormy weather. I wish I could ride with you, I so miss all the storms. Kinda looks like The Dells will miss it! Look forward to your coverage and be safe!
Thanks so much for your videos - they are very informative. Also, I really appreciate how you create chapters so it’s easy to navigate (even though I usually watch the entire video, it’s nice if I wanna go back and rewatch a certain section). Thanks!
Looking forward to cooler, less humid weather here later this week and into next week. It's getting old staying inside from around 10:00 to 6:00 to avoid becoming drenched in sweat after a few minutes outside.
Omg Wisconsinite here! So cool to possibly have you coming to my state!!! Ooo ooo fun fact! There's a big tornado scar still visible on satellite imagery in Wisconsin! Google "White Lake, WI" (next to Antigo) on Google earth and you'll see a super long streak in the forestry! "The scar on the earth from a half-mile-wide tornado that struck northeastern Wisconsin is still visible a decade later. On June 7, 2007, an EF3 tornado carved a path at least 40 miles long through a densely forested area well northwest of Green Bay. About 14,000 acres of trees were wiped out by the twister, according to the National Weather Service." It killed one person sadly
Hey Ryan Hall y'all Thank you so much and I'm so glad to find your channel it's been very informative although some of it is kind of a little too technological and wish somebody could put some stuff into layman's trends but I'm hoping to learn! Your stuff has been more informative than a lot of the apps and I'm trying to find something that actually will show the truth because a lot of times things happen and nothing shows up beforehand or even during and things are just not functioning properly and a lot of the weather apps not even online. Any suggestions as to anybody that would be able to help on that would be greatly appreciated! Even learning things too just looking at the sky or testing the air quality and all when you feel the air turning really really hot and then getting really cold I do remember somebody telling me that that is conducive from some storms and also watching the trees. But in some areas that's not always possible. Hope you have a good trip sir both to up north and down south and everyone else prayers for safety
We had 3 tornadoes over the weekend here in the Detroit area and way too much rain. I kind of hope that weather stays to the north. We could use a break to help dry things up and clean up the damage. We could also use a break from the heat too, but that doesn't seem like it's going to happen any time soon.
You cooks peoples!! Today I woke and I could see the sky been pinkish tones so I asked myself “oh we getting bad storms today perhaps tornados ? Hmm “ and now you show this .. will see ! Safe trip ! Hope to see ya recording chasing tornadoes soon!
Welcome to the neighborhood! I'm literally right around where you are going to be in Wisconsin and Illinois border. I'll be keeping an eye out for the storm seeker.
PROTIP: The House On The Rock, near Dodgeville, WI. is the best kept secret in America. It is the most awesome museum I have ever seen and I have been there 3 times. Also, Spotted Cow Beer is the Bomb. *Here is my review of the place*: The House on the Rock is simply the greatest museum of priceless antiques, assorted kitschy junk, and the largest collection of anything and everything in the world. I read with glee reviews from the numerous religiously impaired fools who were offended by all of the anatomically correct nude statuettes and mannequins. I was also amused by visitors who hated it because it was too dark, too murky and too risque for their sensitive tastes. I read with disgust the idiots who complained that it took too long, or that the food at the snack bar was not good enough. I was annoyed by people who complained, but were stupid enough to take young children to this wonderful and dazzlingly impressive culmination of Americana. People are idiots and do not do even cursory research. How any thinking adult cannot love this place is a mystery to me. I mean, the Organ Room probably has 50 million dollars worth of copper in it alone. What am I talking about? Go see for yourself. Anyway, that is enough of the negative, The House on the Rock is one of the great secret destinations in this country. It is located in a remote area of Wisconsin, they do not advertise, and there is not much else around other than Taliesin, which has a very limited audience. The actual house itself is impressive enough, but nothing can prepare the first-time viewers for that quantity and quality of the artifacts contained within the house, the grounds and the numerous building making up the total museum. The tours are sold in 3 parts and if you want to do the entire House, plan on a full day or more. Mere words or pictures cannot describe what is contained in this wonderful trip down the rabbit hole. In spite of its geographical obscurity, I’ve been here 3 times and wouldn’t mind coming back.
FWIW - The big Experimental Aircraft Association fly-in is taking place in Oshkosh all this week. May be some local traffic nearby on the roads. It's interesting seeing how that many planes and campers deal with storms moving in. Have a good trip. Stock up on cheese curds and bratwurst! In SE Wisconsin, the Milwaukee Area Skywarn Association is on 146.91.
Gonna need you to speak with the weather makers and tell them we need some of that rain down here in Kansas, Mmmmm K? Thanks. No tornadoes though, we paid our dues in May 2019. F4 For 2 hours over 32 miles, we should be good for 25-30 years.
That was a great quick summary of how a Tornado forms at the 12 minute mark. And did it while not losing a beat on the flow of the overall video! Always saw Reed Timmer talking about hodographs and never knew what they did.
I live in cesspool Michigan in the lower thumb area and all the storms have been going right around us so we have been very lucky it can hit Detroit and Lansing all it wants
Can’t wait for the storm chase. I have a question I forget why but for some reason i’m banned from your discord I really want to join it again. I love you channel. I can’t wait for the video.
I belive its a bug I tried to join a discord and it says you are banned when I was never in there only way around is a different link to the discord but I'm not sure
Yeah they issued a marginal risk for our state but like Southeastern Minnesota is like in the higher risk and then it goes all the way to like Wisconsin but we're in the marginal risk
So are these 60-80 mph winds normal. I understand it's somewhat normal up north but we don't normally get that in Virginia. But now it's forcast all the time.

A lot of storms this year have been around the Eau Claire area. You should pick up some cheese curds while you're up here.
Can't wait to see what moves through. Stay safe with your travels.

Many blessings Ryan to you and your family thank you for the update
We missed you during the storm last night Ryan. We all also missed you during the Illinois and Iowa events a week or so ago.
I've traveled to Wisconsin in the summer and their summer thunderstorms are no joke. They were just as impressive as the storms in the Mid-South.
Thanks from a Canadian fan.
Ok, you’re my weather guy now, you and James Spann 😉
Thank you Ryan. Stay safe on your long drive

Stay on the freeways for the best visibility. Too many forests otherwise. Especially the northern half of WI.
That was a great quick summary of how a Tornado forms at the 12 minute mark. And did it while not losing a beat on the flow of the overall video! Always saw Reed Timmer talking about hodographs and never knew what they did.
Ryan why are you chasing and not in the studio where we need you, this is where you shine.

Been in Wisconsin for the last 3 weeks. Y'alls heat is so nasty. Can't wait to head back home (Texas) where it's not nasty hot
It's been really hot and humid this year. We always get humidity with the heat, never just dry heat.
Welcome to Minnesota
No echo? Ok, probably for the best. I live in Michigan, right where this headed. I should pay attention.
Will Columbus Ohio get any severe thunderstorms? I heard the 29th it is looking likely. I wanted to hear your thoughts on it. Great video!
How about Cincinnati?
Yes, Cincinnati please....
And there it evaporates.
