I keep my UA-cam channel politics free, therefore I have removed a thread that started to get a little heated between viewers. Thank you for understanding.
Im 64. Quit wearing cosmetics 2-3 years ago. Been watching vids and learning about make up on the sly. I really used to love make up & loved using it but got tired i guess. My new intrest has got me excited even though i know and accept my face is not the same, i dont LOOK the same so its really about me falling back in love with how i look NOW and embracing that. I love being a woman and i love femininity. Make up is part of that. Thank you for your most informative videos, i love your channel. Happy being beautiful!
L’Oréal Fairest Nude is my holy grail. I’ve bought high end lipsticks- MAC, NARS, Este Lauder. Fairest Nude remains my favorite. btw- your videos are a daily treat for me. The impact is more than beauty advice.
72 yo, I have used many brands & have fallen in love w Laura Geller makeup. I’m heavy handed, oily skin, I tried & even I can’t mess it up. Love the Glow Powder foundation, the liquid, all of it. I have melasma, I don’t try to conceal or hide it, just lighten it. A touch of concealer on it, then her powder foundation is enough. I’ve used Tarte (drying), Maybelline, many brands. Laura Geller models are 40 & up, no 18 yr olds in her ads. Love your videos & techniques!! You’re gorgeous! 🌺💖
I am 42 and love your content, but this particular video… I watched for literally 3 seconds before thinking “omg Risa is looking 🔥 today”. Absolutely stunning. ❤
I’ll be 62 next week and always look forward to your new videos-I've learned so much from you, thank you, Risa 💓. L'Oréal Fairest Nude is my holy grail, and your videos are a daily treat, offering so much more than just beauty advice.
I love the Caviar sticks but my eyelids are so loose now that I’d kinda put them deep in the “can’t wear this anymore” drawer. I’m inspired to dig them out again, especially as I have most of the colours! Thank you, as always, for your time and generosity x
I’ve been watching for years and your content keeps getting better and better. I continue to learn new things from you. Thank you for all of the effort you put into these videos.
Thank you for this Jodi - for some reason I stopped exfoliating - not sure why, but great reminder to start at least once a week. One thing I have been doing over the last couple of months due to winter dryness, I mix a tiny drop of castor oil with my night moisturizer. I am noticing my skin is not so dry anymore. Have a great weekend 😊💕
Hi Risa! I recently purchased the Loreal lipstick in 'Worth It' & 'Worth It Medium'. You've got to try 'Worth It Medium'!!! It's just like it sounds, it's 'Worth it' but a little deeper and it's PERFECT for Autumn & for Holiday! Trust me! 😘😘😘
Call me crazy… I love the way the L’Oréal lipstick smells. Also, try peach fuzz. It’s a beautiful peachy pink. I like putting it in the center on deeper colors to highlight the center on my lips. Love your channel and all your tips. You’re so pretty!
Risa, I’ve used the Color Riche lipstick since the 80’s and I agree with everything you said about them. I’m also a fair skin girl and my favorite shades are Mica (around since the 80’s, lol) Organza, and Ballerina. Give them a try if you haven’t already, I’ll bet at least one of them might work for you. Much love and respect, thanks for your wonderful work and content! 😊
I've been following you for over six years and although seldom comment, you never ever have disappointed me! ❤ One more lovely video!! and I agree, can't stand loreal lipstick scent. Milani cream blushed indeed are really descent.
IF you live in Europe, KIKO makes the same (phenomenal) eye shadow pens as Laura Mercier. KIKO is about a third of the price. Love the fact that there is NO fall out/dust below the eyes when I apply, unlike often eye shadows. Chanel makes the WORST cream eye shadows. I have tried to apply them about a 50 times…nothing works. I am 52 and need make up. Every day. :)
Interesting that Armani Luminous Silk concealer beat Natasha Denona Hy-Glam concealer (which I know you also love). The LM Caviar sticks look fantastic on you here!
I'm 57 and until recently I was very oily skinned like you. I've never been able to wear cream eyeshadow but I will have to give one of those caviar sticks a try!
Oh I can relate to having a favorite L'Oreal lipstick color! "Mica" But sadly rating this brand using Yuka app and EWG, it rates at the most toxic level! I'm a cancer survivor and would love any suggestions of healthier lipstick options. Bless you all!!
Great video! Thanks for sharing. I love the L’Oréal color riche in color 129-Montmatre a beautiful pink that goes with any makeup look. Your lips but better 😊
I love color riche. Here are my faves. I am a brunette with very fair skin and blue eyes. 444 luscious coral, 303, a light pigmented red. Volcanic, a bright pink coral, 140 mauves to put over other lipsticks for shine! And the browns are great.
Will you please do a video on how to apply cream eyeshadow sticks? I have some of those sticks but can never seem to apply them in a way that looks good.
Btw, I have been using an eyeshadow method you shared recently where you don't worry about the mess, and clean it up later with eye makeup remover. Oh my goodness, that is my favorite method by far!! Thank you for sharing that!
I have always loved and wore red blush, I am a similar skin tone and eye color to you and I am so happy it has caught on! Being in my mid 50's I find myself wearing lip liner with a corresponding gloss....and the price of lipstick these days (over $30 for most) has kept me from diving in, but I am going to give Loreal a try! Thanks as always, great content!
I watched a video that said the Revolution Super Base is a great dube, and fragrance free. I am trying it out and love it so far, but I have never been able to wear the BB because of the smell. But for 12$ the Revolution one is worth a try.
I need tips on how to get better coverage and camouflage on my dark circles and bags under my eyes. It's so frustrating. My favorite brand of cream shadow stick is THRIVE. They are so pretty, have so many colors, long-wearing, and easy to apply and blend together.
What shade do you use in the Armani? Sorry if I missed it. I’m so glad you discovered the LM caviar sticks! As my eyes get more sensitive with age, I have a hard time wearing shimmer shadow or pinks but these sticks let me do so while being forgiving and lasting all day. Great pick 💕
In the lippie swatches shown, Worth It looks similar to Maybelline's Warm Me Up. So if L'Oreal's scent is off putting for you, consider the Maybelline. Caveat: the Warm Me Up has a slightly waxy (crayon) scent, but not a strong floral and I don't notice the waxy scent lingering. Good luck! 🍀 💕
I’ve just ordered the Loreal lipstick! Actually had to pause the video to order it 🙈 So many times I pause your videos to order whatever you are wearing or recommending. Thank you for everything 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️
Wonderful round up of top products. I will have to get those shades of eyeshadow sticks; that combination looks so nice. Could you please share what lip liner you used with that lipstick? Many thanks for those lipstick shades! Going to try them out ASAP🥰
Just sharing my experience with the Bobbi brown face base…I agree with how it makes my skin feel but wow, the fragrance is just literally overwhelming!! Yes, gave it more than one shot, (maybe a day I was feeling bit scent sensitivity 🤷♀️), but after about an hour & the fragrance didn’t seem to get any less, I unfortunately had to wash it off which was disappointing bc I’d heard good things about but the fragrance was just WOW 😟 Thanks for sharing your experiences with mature beauties 😊
Great video! I had some things going on in my personal life and had to take a break from watching UA-cam for a bit but I’m back and catching up 😊🎉 I love your tips, tricks and recommendations! I have used the Bobbi Brown Face Base for quite awhile now and I LOVE it! Hope you have a great week! Hugs! 💖
Just like you, L'Oréal lipstick scent really bothers me for decades. Once in a while I went to store to check if they changed the scent at all but totally gave up a few years ago. Regardless the scent, L'Oréal lipsticks do have a luxurious feel and the colors were great on me,maybe I'll give it a try again after thirty years of waiting 😂. Laura Mercier has reformulated many of her products which is a doom for me. I used to love love her tinted moisturizer with SPF and their primers, ever since they changed the formula I get itchy skin using them... yes that's why I am dreadful of change of formulas for my favorite products. A huge problem for my sensitive constitutions 😢.
Hi Risa the bb vitamin enriched face base is a favourite primer for my extremely dry skin. As a moisturiser in my skincare routine it's not rich enough, but applied just before makeup over my skincare and spf (having allowed time for the spf to set in place ie around twenty minutes) it's really good. It's kind of smoothing as well as hydrating so makeup sits nicely over it. I have rosacea and eczema so whilst I enjoy the lemon custard (how it smells to me 😂) scent my rosacea isn't as happy with it. It's also pricey so I tried the Revolution dupe superbase. It feels the same and smooths/hydrates the same but crucially it's fragrance free and far more affordable. I have completely replaced the bb version with the superbase and am really happy with it. Revolution isn't a brand that I love a lot from but this is a real favourite and constant repurchase. I have used the LM caviar sticks for years and in fact just bought one of the new shades. However Kiko shadow sticks are very similar and there are many shade dupes in the line. Truthfully if you can find the shade you want then look to Kiko first (the new shade I wanted didn't have a corresponding shade from Kiko obviously). I think the LM, by Terry and Kiko are made in the same factory in Italy and are all really similar in performance. Best wishes x
I have been using the Bobby Brown cream for a couple of years now with their eye cream and I love it, I switch it up with the charlotte tilbury. The eye sticks I'm using now are the rare beauty ones, the previous I had were dry on me. Thankyou for this video ❤
Hi Risa, I love favourites. Well other people's favourites as some times u find new favourites. I love Bobbi Brown enriched face base, I've only started using it about 3 months ago. Just beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. I love all the products u mentioned 😊😊😊
I have an odd question. I'm over 55 and I want to wear less make up and you've shown two or three items and hear that this is going to sound silly but I just don't wanna mess with them. I don't wanna hassle with them one of them as eyeshadow I don't ever wear eyeshadow, but that could be because I don't know how to put it on properly, but I'm looking for a simple easy walk out the door over 50 make up routine...... any recent ....ideas or suggestions?... something is simple as maybe a moisturizer, or tinted moisturizer lip, oil or lip gloss and maybe a mask or eyeliner?..... I watched a more recent video of yours, and I already use a few of the products that you demonstrated
Been buying Fairest Nude on repeat. It’s always on my lips, sometimes on its own and sometimes as a base with other glosses. Another one I love from L’Oréal for this time of year is shade 835, so good.
Before you even mentioned what was on your eyes I was going to comment how much I love your eye look in this video- so beautiful! I love the LM caviar sticks😍 Xo 🇨🇦
I keep my UA-cam channel politics free, therefore I have removed a thread that started to get a little heated between viewers. Thank you for understanding.
Good for you.applause !!!!!
Thank you! You Rock, Risa!
Thank you
Thank you, Risa!💕🌸
Thank you! That’s not what we come here for ❤❤
I’ll be 62 next week and always get excited when I see you upload a new video. I’ve learned so much from watching you. Thank you Risa💓
L’Oréal Fairest Nude is my holy grail. I’ve bought high end lipsticks- MAC, NARS, Este Lauder. Fairest Nude remains my favorite. btw- your videos are a daily treat for me. The impact is more than beauty advice.
Me too. I also use it to soften darker shades. I have been buying it for years!
Thank you I've been on the fence about trying LG. I'm 59 with oily skin, wrinkles, pores, sun damage lol.
You are a gem and keep us all loving makeup no matter our age thank you 😊
L’Oréal lipstick shades:
Tickled Pink
Ballerina Slippers
Bronzie- I think? lol
Sandstone
Silverstone
Mica-all time fave!!
Hi, Risa! Another Pillow Talk dupe I’ve found is L’Oréal Les Nus Lipstick in Nu Impertinent. 😊
I have both and I prefer the L’Oréal version. The formula is just works better for my lips.
I am 42 and love your content, but this particular video… I watched for literally 3 seconds before thinking “omg Risa is looking 🔥 today”. Absolutely stunning. ❤

I love the worth it medium. Don't love the scent. Love Love Love Revlon lipsticks, so moisterizing and no scent. Happy holidays Risa ❤
Revlon lipsticks are very overlooked. I still buy them and they still go on as nice as a department store lipstick.
Beautiful eye look with the shadow sticks! ❤
I use the NYX pump concealer as my main coverage with a light layer of the Laura Gellar baked powder foundation on top.
❤❤❤ I’d love to see a video on if you were a makeup artist today what would build your kit with
My favorite L’Oréal colour riche lipstick is toasted almond. It is the perfect warm toned nude lipstick on my medium skin tone.
Love the darker hair on you!
My favorite eyeshadow stick for about five years is Julep in Stone.
Mica is my favorite Lorel lipstick.
Moshi
Love that L’Oréal peach lipstick for the very reason you do! I Put it on over other lipstick for a shimmer in the middle. Love it!
L’oreal color riche in Sandstone is my all-time fave! Going to try Worth It now too 👍 the smell is nostalgic for me and I love it ❤
Risa, I’ve used the Color Riche lipstick since the 80’s and I agree with everything you said about them. I’m also a fair skin girl and my favorite shades are Mica (around since the 80’s, lol) Organza, and Ballerina. I love Loreal lipstick’s, have been using them since my 20’s ❤ 😊
Mica is my favorite lip color...I've used it for years!
I found the caviar eye sticks at TJ Maxx and I love them! I’d definitely be willing to purchase at full price-they are great for traveling!
The reformulated ones are fabulous!
I love the Loreal lipsticks with the scent
I wish I liked the scent but to me it’s overwhelming. And I like scented products.
L’Oréal use to put grape seed oil in their lipstick. I loved the way they smelled. I’m talking 40 years ago.
Thanks for the great tips Risa, may I ask about lip liners I find it hard to figure out what goes with what?
I love the Caviar sticks! Cobblestone is a go to color: cool and buildable!
Wonderful recommendations Risa! Beautiful!😊❤
Great video! Ty for taking the time to explain the research you do and a little about the actual products. I found it very helpful and informative.
I have loved Tickled Pink, in the L’Oréal lipstick, for years.
I've been following you for over six years and although seldom comment, you never ever have disappointed me! ❤
One more lovely video!! and I agree, can't stand loreal lipstick scent. Milani cream blushed indeed are really descent.
Which shade of the Armani concealer are u wearing. Thank you ❤
Wondering the same- great video 🙌🏻

Can you do a video on best shimmers fir mature eyes?
Risa great video.I love Loreal lipstick. I find the smell is milder than yrs ago. 😊
I'm 57 and until recently I was very oily skinned like you. I've never been able to wear cream eyeshadow but I will have to give one of those caviar sticks a try!
And I LOVE the hair color!!!!! 🎉❤
Oh I can relate to having a favorite L'Oreal lipstick color! "Mica" But sadly rating this brand using Yuka app and EWG, it rates at the most toxic level! I'm a cancer survivor and would love any suggestions of healthier lipstick options. Bless you all!!
My favorite Loreal lipstick is 810 Sandstone. I'm gonna have to try Fairest Nude. Thanks for the great content, Risa.
Great video! Thanks for sharing. I love the L’Oréal color riche in color 129-Montmatre a beautiful pink that goes with any makeup look. Your lips but better 😊
The best concealer for mature not only is the Westman Atelier!!!!!!😍
I love color riche. Here are my faves. I am a brunette with very fair skin and blue eyes. 444 luscious coral, 303, a light pigmented red. Volcanic, a bright pink coral, 140 mauves to put over other lipsticks for shine! And the browns are great.
Fast approaching 50 but I always learn something new from your videos 🥰

I just boughtJoah matte pore primer & it's better than any primer I have ever used!!!!
Does the RMS blush have that blurring effect like the Danessa Myricks? That one is amazing but limited shades💙
L’Oréal Fairest Nude has been the only lipstick I’ve worn for over 16 years. I’m also very very sensitive to scents and I don’t notice a scent at all.
Hi Risa! Wow exactly what you did with Armani concealer I did same. I purchased others and always went back to Armani one.
I love the Loreal lipstick's formula I also can't find a good shade.
Do you have a fragrance free alternative to the Bobbi Brown Face Base?
I watched a video that said the Revolution Super Base is a great dube, and fragrance free. I am trying it out and love it so far, but I have never been able to wear the BB because of the smell. But for 12$ the Revolution one is worth a try.
I find it soooo funny, I just bought color riche in ginger spice ! And I LOVE it !!
I love the Golden Shimmer Color Riche lipstick. You can wear it alone for the JLo look or put in the middle of the lip in place of a gloss.
Love the video! Do you use the Bobbi Brown product in place of your moisturizer?
Yep!
Maybelline Concealer - LOVE IT!
This was really helpful Risa! I trust all your picks and have to check out that Armani concealer! ❤️💜🩷
Would you do your skin care line? What do you use? Do you get facials? I would love to know.
Could you list the lip liner you have on in this video? Thank you!!
Could you review blow dryer brushes? Or any blow dryer brush or system recommendations?
I need tips on how to get better coverage and camouflage on my dark circles and bags under my eyes. It's so frustrating.
My favorite brand of cream shadow stick is THRIVE. They are so pretty, have so many colors, long-wearing, and easy to apply and blend together.
Love your darker blonde hair colour
L'Oreal lipstick in Blushing Berry is one of my favorite lipsticks!
Risa, do you recommend the red blush for those who have a lot of redness to their skin? You look great today!!
Hi! I would try a neutral pink unless you’re using a foundation that evens out the redness beforehand. Then the red should be fine!
Thanks for sharing these. Your eyelook is so pretty.
I appreciate you keeping us company !
What is the lightest eyebrow color that is not too ashy or red? I need something very subtle!
129 & 754 are also good colors in Loreal lipsticks
Good luck! 🍀 💕
I LOVE these specific videos! So incredibly helpful. I appreciate your knowledge and expertise ! ❤
Risa, the Bobbie Brown face base, do you use it before sunscreen or after?
I have this same question.
I’ve just ordered the Loreal lipstick! Actually had to pause the video to order it 🙈 So many times I pause your videos to order whatever you are wearing or recommending. Thank you for everything 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️
I have 3 loreal matte lippies. The matte formula allows me to skip lip liner. I just top with different glosses
Beautiful😍Love eye shadow sticks.
Wonderful round up of top products. I will have to get those shades of eyeshadow sticks; that combination looks so nice.
Could you please share what lip liner you used with that lipstick? Many thanks for those lipstick shades! Going to try them out ASAP🥰
I still find the L’Oréal lipstick to be too scented for me. That’s unfortunate because I do agree with your assessment of the shade Worth It.
Just sharing my experience with the Bobbi brown face base…I agree with how it makes my skin feel but wow, the fragrance is just literally overwhelming!!
Yes, gave it more than one shot, (maybe a day I was feeling bit scent sensitivity 🤷♀️), but after about an hour & the fragrance didn’t seem to get any less, I unfortunately had to wash it off which was disappointing bc I’d heard good things about but the fragrance was just WOW 😟
Thanks for sharing your experiences with mature beauties 😊
Great video! I had some things going on in my personal life and had to take a break from watching UA-cam for a bit but I’m back and catching up 😊🎉 I love your tips, tricks and recommendations! I have used the Bobbi Brown Face Base for quite awhile now and I LOVE it! Hope you have a great week! Hugs! 💖
Risa, you look so pretty today! Love your videos ❤
Thank you Risa💗
I have been using the Bobby Brown cream for a couple of years now with their eye cream and I love it, I switch it up with the charlotte tilbury.
The eye sticks I'm using now are the rare beauty ones, the previous I had were dry on me.
Thankyou for this video ❤
Great look! Ty for sharing! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Cool. TY Risa!!! ❤❤❤
Hi beautiful thanks for sharing i love your video.
I love color riche. I love your hair color. Nice for the fall ❤
If you’re using the Bobby Brown face vase as a primer, do you put it over your sunscreen or under your sunscreen
I put it over.
Thanks Risa for sharing
Love your makeup today see you soon ❤
Been buying Fairest Nude on repeat. It’s always on my lips, sometimes on its own and sometimes as a base with other glosses. Another one I love from L’Oréal for this time of year is shade 835, so good.
Before you even mentioned what was on your eyes I was going to comment how much I love your eye look in this video- so beautiful!
I love the LM caviar sticks😍
Xo 🇨🇦
Thank for your information.I love your videos.
