I kind of forgot about the exotic glaives but oh well🤷
I remember every titan i knew in destiny 1 hating the fabian strategy and wondering why they couldn't get something like the tlaloc or ace lmao
Had the best look out of the 3 imo

I want the Fabian strategy to come back. It wasnt amazing but it was one of my favorite looking guns and I feel like bungie could do something cool with it in d2

They should make the shield on Fabian Strategy work like a glaive shield.

As much as I would love class specific weapon exotics, with how Destiny 2 is at this point the community would probably complain until it’s available for every class. Or it would have to be a weapon with very little difference between the three classes.
Someone in the comments had the idea of having standout class guns. Like we can use Still Hunt on every class but it’s clearly best on Hunters. We should get a variation for each class
Fabian strategy more like sit in the vault strategy. Hopefully Bungie brings it back with better everything perks, stats, catalyst, quest hopefully involving sunbreaker titans also the warlock exotic as well.
Fabian was mediocre, and Titans were not aggressive Frontline units.
That's a D2 thing.
As much as Striker tried to be melee, it did better as area denial.
Defender was not close range at all.
Sunbreaker was our ranged class, so.
There are the exotic class exclusive glaives (although no one really uses them very often). But I hope they kind of have soft class exclusives with titan and warlock versions of still hunt, where it’s clearly best on that class with specific builds and exotic synergies, but still usable by all 3 classes. Since Goldie is like the starter class for hunter, I was thinking it should be the same for warlock and titan for their exotics, I was thinking about a heavy void grenade launcher that shot out vortex nova bombs after its perk gets ready(not slowva bomb cuz then it would just be a lot like deathbringer and colony merged into one gun), and it could synergize with exotics like skull of dire ahamkara to allow for really fast super generation, potentially allowing you to shoot out 2+ nova bombs in the same dps phase. For titans it would have to be arc, and be a primary ammo weapon, but I was thinking it could shoot out some sort of guided thundercrash missile. Maybe like a bow that could be super charged to shoot out a significantly slower shot that goes to where you’re aiming during its flight path, and it would work with cuirass of the falling star. It would most likely be used for heavy major clear and boss dps when ammo is in short supply
I’d also like to add that maybe they could all be special ammo, so warlock gets a breech loaded grenade launcher, or even a chaos reach trace rifle. Titan could get a burning maul wave GL or a thundercrash Glaive. Maybe there could be one for each subclass, and then hunter gets a special ammo night stalker bow.
That’s a good idea, good for all classes but best on one

@@BuffGenji yes, the nova bomb GL is an amazing idea as well as a thundercrash glaive, I would love to see a glaive meta and that would be awesome. Pair it with Cuirass to make it do more damage and be clearly best on titans. I love all of it

Tlaloc sadly got made into armor mantle of battle harmony which honestly is almost as good as the gun love em both
I would love every d1 exotic to comeback with the right rework
If we get Fabian strategy back it needs to not have that shield on the front. That just takes up so much screen space. If not just give me a skin to take the shield off, i will pay silver to do so. Its my favorite base skin of auto rifle, *RUINED* by that shield. I question what were the artists thinking for design choices like that.
well that wont be the case anymore since everyone who mains a class would feel left out and demand a class specific weapon to be for all classes, unlike playing all classes and appreciate their uniqueness.

We already somewhat have Fabian Strategy and Tlaloc in Destiny 2, it's called Lodbrok and Hung Jury, well they look kinda similar
