Hey, that's a pretty cool creature. Just a couple of observations. Had it been me I would have used a grooved gouge for rounding the ends of the tusks. Wood glue would work nicely with easy cleanup. Maybe Goop. Comes in a tube and it never dries to a hardness and the wood pieces will NEVER come apart. Can be used for other materials as well. Get it at craft stores.
