HOW DO YOU TWO NOT KNOW KANSAS DUST IN THE WIND!!! Listen to it on your own, you will absolutely love it! (side note a bassists that joined them in the 80's passed away yesterday?) ok..Daz, show tis on your private channel with G and Aiden!!
Completely agree. I get a feeling he was a blondie like me and probably had a long bang over one eye with a pouty smirk on his face. Come on Mike show us! (:
Which just goes to show that everybody's assumption that everybody in the world has heard every song is wrong. Whole bands people haven't heard of before. Whole genres sometimes.
Born in 1970. There were a bunch of song titles and artists I couldn't remember quickly enough. The answers I didn't know were Philip Bailey on "Easy Lover" and the songs by ELO, Iggy Pop, and Queen. Mike got a better score than I did, but I was surprised that amid all those more obscure songs, the one he didn't know was "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas. I guess it didn't get much airplay in the UK.

I was 18 in '82 it was the day the Faulkland's war started I flew from Atlanta to Gatwick on British Caledonian Airlines. It was a great time. 9 days in the UK London-Edinburgh-Glasgow-York back to London. Big hits were "I Love Rock-N-Roll", "Centerfold" and a new band I never heard of.. The Human League. Within weeks of returning to Memphis "Don't You Want Me" was number 1 in the US.
I did quite well for awhile. With the advent of the 8 track stereos in cars, I pretty much stopped listening to FM radio. Easy to listen to what you wanted to vs constant candy music and commercials. It was that period of time where I lacked current releases. Oh well. Daz kicked my butt on songs I’ve heard but was too slow to recall.
18:56 I had a great-uncle who lived in Toms River, just a few blocks from the Barnegat Bridge (made famous in the Frankie Valli it "My Eyes Adored You"). I practically grew up in Seaside Heights/Seaside Park.
I was born in 73 and sheltered from such songs by the Mennonites for the first decade and a half of my life, but even I knew dust in the wind.😁. To be fair, I could not have named a lot of the others, at least not in that amount of time, even though I know them all.
❤❤ Love when you do these "Guess it" things 😂😂 You Guys NAILED this one 😊😂At least this 65yr old from USA did better on this one than the last ,I only missed 5 on this one 😊. Missed about 1/2 on 50's and 60"s one 😂😂. Love the reaction && Keep on Rocking Blokes!!! ❤
Mike! Your next career is a game show host guess that tune. A game show that deserves a come back. Wish I had the $ to back you up on this endeavor....but I truly believe you will hit a Platinum record as music 🎵 host!
bob what??? lol also there is ALOT of older songs that i have heard and then learned they were not the originals, i think led zeppelin did one plus a lot of other bands, i just cant think of them, that could be a video of the og songs that bands did remakes of, i knew some of a majority of these like dust in the wind by kansas (maybe because its because i really dont like that song that i remember but everyone has heard it lol)
Elvis is the most known in history. Even if you don't know his music he is known by his name because of all the cultural references in music, film, history, television.
i feel like i was born in the wrong year, i don't listen to top 100 global spotify today and i don't even know who they are. also i don't even know 60% of these artists on this video lol.

You blokes knocked it out of the park
I would kill to see what Mike looked like in the 70’s/80’s. Not buying he had a fringe 😂
third!
Hahaha same here. Go on Mike show us some retro photos.
Almost every male in my school had hair past their shoulders with a fringe 😂
Completely agree. I get a feeling he was a blondie like me and probably had a long bang over one eye with a pouty smirk on his face. Come on Mike show us! (:
Kansas is their one blindspot.
I wouldn't have guessed that.
Well then, Carry On My Wayward Blokes...
Right? I looked and Dust in the Wind never charted in the UK.. insane.
Dust In the Wind was probably in every guitar teacher's repertoire at least in the US of A.

Some very iconic and timeless songs!
Tony Soprano behind him, he whiffs on "Don't Stop Believin'"
I know some really Clubs i used to look for Hot Mum's. Both of you would love it. All old-school music lol
5:15.... Dire Straits is an English band, but Bob Dylan helped Dire Straits with "Sultans of Swing" with vocals.

Made the charts in several countries, but not in the UK. Sold 200,000 copies there.
(19:00) Bar-A (Anticipation)??? It's a little north of Tom's River, but it seems like a possibility.

Also, you guys need to check out a few Kansas songs.

I missed #45. You guys knocked it out of the park. Bravo!
I got the majority right. Interesting that you did not know Kansas. They are also known for, Carry on My Wayward son.

Office blokes need to come to party in Vegas
I can tell you guys are both close to my age haha! I didn't know Kansas either. Surprised they didn't have Sade or Billy Idol

Mark Knopfler was the guitarist for Dire Straits
damn Mike might give me a run for my money on the 70s music
Great songs

I am HORRIBLE with band names and song names. I've heard every single song on this list but knew less than half of their names lol
the fumble on Your Song was sad :)
"Free Bird" for the 70's and there on.
Holy shit, they are good. I could only guess a few. To be fair, I was born in 1995. But still. Amazing how quickly they can tell a song
Well done gents.
Got 42/50, some of the ones I missed knew what they were but don't really listen to those songs, only the Bob Marley one had no clue.
The original Tainted Love (1965) was by Gloria Jones, she was Marc Bolon's girlfriend and was driving the Mini that killed him.
Always use to see Marc in Streatham Wimpy back in the 70s. Very friendly lad
This was surprisingly fun
high fives to mike!
good job lads, I missed 4
We got Rick rolled lol
And now heres a song by a gay guy
-brian griffin
im happy i got 75% right, some i knew the melody but couldnt remember the name, thats not easy, youre just buffs :P
Partridge sing-along next time?
Dire Straits guitarist = Mark Knopfler
I only didn't know 5

The younger crowd would say Taylor Swift. She just broke M.J's record at Wembley
Only because he's dead and but alive to break her new record. 😆
Dire straits guitarist name is mark knopfler not mark king
I'm sorry but Taylor Swift is nowhere near Michael Jackson legendary status.
It's hard to believe she just broke his record at Wembly stadium
The moment she starts interfering with kids, people will be like "Michael who??"
@@Tbone1492
I don't know why so many around the world love her. The young generation is all in for Swift
You shouldn’t care enough to argue the point
Tru. I don't like her. But she isn't a chomo at least
That was too easy as it was music from your generation. You should do one from the 1930s.
Elvis is the most known in history. Even if you don't know his music he is known by his name because of all the cultural references in music, film, history, television.
He’s not more known that MJ , stop ,,,many younger people don’t have a clue who he is or ever heard of him
MJ is way bigger than Elvis. If anyone can contend with MJ it would be The Beatles.
@@Mu5icPr0ducer Who doesn't know Elvis?
“The monkey don’t know superstition”. Iykyk
I knew all of them except the gay ones.
So all the 80s ones then?
