NWOBHM: the era of sooo many forgotten bands. seriously, most people can only name Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Motorhead, MAYBE Venom or Diamond Head if you're a real Metallica fan. But these guys kick ass. And nobody knows about em!
just discovered this, & searched yt for NWOBHM to find this wonderful upload. I was much into those you named in my youth, in the '80s, waiting impatiently for each new album to drop. . . (JP was my fave); I'm 53 now, thoroughly enjoying going back to my roots of music love.
@@NatandGeorge Nobody knows about them? Angel Witch were massive on the NWOBHM scene and one of the pioneers of the genre! Them and Maiden were the driving force!
Can you hear the voice Of a thousand years ago? The laughter of the gorgon A female that brings doom Don’t look her in the eyes Or you’ll turn to stone!!
magic metal song love the guitars on this so raw, has that melodic feel to it at the start of the track then a full frontal metal assault. fucking awesome. #nwobhmforever love angel witch

@juw44 Join the club!!!!!!! Still got it myself in the picture sleeve. Listened to the LP on vinyl the other day for the first time in nearly 20+ years. Wow it still sounds fresh and up to date. Some of the newer bands could do with taking a lesson from this lot. Brilliant stuff is it not.
i agree, alot of people who try to start metal bands where i live could care less for a good bass player cause they are too obsesses with the riffs and drums
@ThePowerslave94 are fan of thrash metal, there's many new thrash metal bands, check out warbringer, bonded by blood, mantic ritual and fueled by fire. there's many more also. one really good new heavy metal band is a band called "natur"
@Simpson654 It's more that they (your ex-band) are not good. I love these basslines as well, it's one of the things I like the most of this band and particularly, this great album. Forget your ex-band, I think you have the right influence right here. :) (They probably didn't want the bass to stand out, or something. Their loss, if you ask me.)
i love that you love metal. but i hate that you have to say your 13. that pisses me off. dont know why. but keep it going. i was like 5 when i discovered Metal and i am still listening 17 years later.
@luckyluke193 i know how u feel todays music is fuckin horrible compared to old school metal... but ive actually found 1 good band called graveyard other than them i'm sticking to any band from the 60-80s
This album is probably heavy metal's most overlooked masterpiece.

This song rocks. Its kind of funny though, I can hear a spinal tappish vibe to it. I keep feeling Stonehenge when the backing vocals do their part.

@guitarismysword1 yeah, last year. I've played the shit out of it ever since.

i love that you love metal. but i hate that you have to say your 13. that pisses me off. dont know why. but keep it going. i was like 5 when i discovered Metal and i am still listening 17 years later.
This song makes me think of a very, very fat girl wearing yoga pants while riding a very, very small bike.
Bob Rosenburg what!? lmfao
Bob Rosenburg wtf ..why?
Are you trying to ruin this song for me, ass jack?
Bob Rosenburg ....I would love to be that bike....mmmmmmm.
I am going to smaple this.
KAPEL GEE ugh
@luckyluke193 i know how u feel todays music is fuckin horrible compared to old school metal... but ive actually found 1 good band called graveyard other than them i'm sticking to any band from the 60-80s
The intro is amazing but the rest of the song is just decent. Don't really understand why some people endlessly praise this band.
Think this song is about sarah palin
@craigadee Can't stand that screaming pish
