That tavern is my base ;) place a flame shrine 1 voxel into where the small wall is broken in front, and upgrade it's area once ; voila the base location line is just at the end of the secret spider cave with the luminous blocks and the lev 13 silver chest. (secret bookshelf door in the basement) Every time I start the game, I can loot the chest and farm the luminous material, as well as farm the clay behind the tavern. Most importantly though, when a flame altar covers the tavern, your base comfort will be at 25 even before you place anything. ;)
There’s also no stability mechanics in this game soooo…. U can build floating bases lol something I’m sure intrigues u… if u go to a cliff and place a fire altar at the edge u can build floor blocks in the air within the building area then place another altar n pick up the first one then rinse n repeat building out as far as u decide to go… so u can build a base floating above the shroud they also have illuminated blocks/stones u can harvest u can use to build so if u build something above the shroud u can build scaffold blocking to get u under the base and put illuminated blocks under the base… at nighttime it looks absolutely amazing just some food for thought since I know u like building awesome bases… anyway love ur content hope u keep playing this for quite some time 💯🎯
I saw a video about taking over POIs. StillSolo I believe it was. There is nothing stopping you from taking it over and doing your own thing. An episode of "House fliping in Enshrouded with Tem" would be great inspiration
Around the back of the tower at the Fawnsong Frontier, there is a building block for a new base building material that you missed. There is also a pathway under the bridge that can let you get to it without fighting the matron again.
If you finish reading the note about the guy that fell in the grinder, it’ll tell you his remains are buried next to the grinder under wooden planks. Go there. Dig it up to find buried treasure. For me it was a legendary ring. Love this series. 🎉
I realize I'm hopelessly behind on GNS videos, but I REALLY like the Enshrouded playthrough. Especially as you remove the shroud, this game is a beauty to behold!
U can also put down a farm soil plot then spread it out with the rake once spread u can use the pick axe and harvest a ton more then what u put down so u can basically make unlimited amount of farming soil especially if u want to make a huge ass farm 💯🎯👍🏽
Hey Tem, not sure if you were aware but you don't have to scroll to use your heals. You can just press the corresponding number and it'll use it. Also the bow doesn't need to be in your hot bar. As long as it's equipped you can just press q
I mean, the OG ranger was much more known for his blade work than his archery. Well that, summoning an army of the dead and returning the line of kings to Gondor...
I hope they add a interupt mechanic as the mobs and boss are crazy hard just because nothing stop them attacking. It's beautiful and well made but still EA can't wait to see it with even more work
farm soil as terrain, and a rake to extend it helps the garden. Taking over a POI is a thing. House flipper time. Magic is really strong in this game. Melee fighter is such a difficult way toplay. Not -bad-. Just difficult. There are ranged bosses you won't be able to really effectively fight.... Or hit.
Thing about the bow is that it's dps isn't that great if you rely on the auto-aim at all. The auto-assist aims for the main body, but when you free hand, it is easier to do more damaging head shots. That Illuminated wall might be nice to make fluorescent lighting in a large warehouse building.
Next thing I wanna do to my house, is dig out a basement. I was messing around with foundations and realised you can dig out shit super quickly and uniformly.
In case this is helpful to anyone. I am trying to play mostly melee as well. BUT The basic fire and ice wands are the trick for me with these scav mother bosses and the whole camp really. The scavs are weak to ice so you can spam the basic ice wand attacks since they don’t cost any mana. I keep one of each on the hot bar. Ice for the scavs and fire for the wolves. One on one it’s fun to melee the scavs but for groups I whittle them down with the wands first.
You can make wards and find some shields and such that will give elemental resistances. There is also a skill line that gives resist to poison, which seems like a very limited circumstance but it seems that all the matrons have poison dmg so ends up being more useful than it seems. With armor it's really only a difference in physical/magic armor and the bonuses (mage is mana or magic dmg, archer is stamina and crit, melee is health and health regen etc. etc.) The only elemental resists are from those secondary type wards or sheild's from what I have been able to find so far.
I would recommend relocating your starter base, and not expanding it. The game map is huge and the flame alters are your fast travel points. By having your starter base right next to the cinder vault (which is also a fast travel point) you are effectively limiting your ability to quickly move around the map by one wasted location. As you expand out east you will be grateful for the ability to create additional teleport hubs.
Yea nothing stopping you from taking over the tavern but I'd make sure you have all the building blocks used in it unlocked before you do since if have them unlocked when you take parts of the ruined building apart to renovate you will get the building blocks back instead of just stone or wood
That matrons acid spay is what was one shooting you, not her nades. This spell was also being abused by players to one shot all bosses. The damage of this was actually nerfed today so it won't hurt so bad now. .
I would say Throw a vote to the community on If you should Take over that tavern OR Build your own, Also Which building mats you use, ( Just like in A20 DF Playthrough with the cathedrel)

I think I'm living in the same Tavern it's a great base I love the fact you can use the buildings in the game or build or own.

Stillsolo > The Surprising Truth About Enshrouded Base Building

Wisp lights are great for caves and darker areas. 5 minute duration, but no need to hold a torch.
Just so you know, if you place farm soil as terrain it will make plants grow quite a bit faster (at least, from what I've seen it does YMMV)
U can also put down a farm soil plot then spread it out with the rake once spread u can use the pick axe and harvest a ton more then what u put down so u can basically make unlimited amount of farming soil especially if u want to make a huge ass farm 💯🎯👍🏽
Your previous set of armor looked like it would have come from "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" or something like that. 😀
I like that you read out the lore. I tend to skip reading them in game, but having some one read them out is nice.
You know the playthrough is getting serious when TemCam shows up!
I vote for the Tavern as your base.

Every Ranger type character eventually has a "alright time to get out the sword" moment. Its inevitable.
I mean, the OG ranger was much more known for his blade work than his archery.
Well that, summoning an army of the dead and returning the line of kings to Gondor...
It's less the "elf armor" and more the drop attack leaving you to open lol
Gandalf - Fly, you fools!
Sameth - Dig, you fools!
Temreki - Craft, you fools!
I think you should move to the tavern, it looked great and you'll save time not having to build.
I hope they add a interupt mechanic as the mobs and boss are crazy hard just because nothing stop them attacking. It's beautiful and well made but still EA can't wait to see it with even more work
We set up in the tavern too, love it as a base, currently on level 3 and have plenty of space for farming atm

I was excpecting the explosion and you did not disappoint. Thanks
You should look into using farm dirt for your farm-makes things grow at a much greater rate.

Love this series! Looking forward to the more to come 👍🏻

GNS causally roasting that tower 😅

Go to thornhold instead. I made a base at that Tavern you're at, and its now just a farm. Thornhold has better comfort from the start

I bought this game because of you. I'm now blaming you for my current addiction. 🤣
The Matrons fucked me up EVERYTIME 🤣
There is block set at the tower with the boss.

Stay there and build everyone their own workshop...
Cautious Pancake had a video about building a floating castle 😅
Do the tavern!!!!!!

Did i miss the ending to the wasteland series..Interesting game ..but sorry 7dtd is top of my list
You Outfit is well bähhhh
You should move to the blue goblet tavern your comfort was really high thare and you could upgrade parts of it like this comment if you might do it
the matron boss u were hitting on the head, u shud hit it on the belly ... thats the weak spot
My man can barely build ladders and is trash talking those hard working laborers trying to build a tower.
🥃👏
Can you please turn off screen shake, it's pretty nauseating with the big fighting segments.
UNSTOPPABLE?? LOL, there is literally NO death penalty, everyone is unstoppable...........lolol
