Raza Murad ek shaandar kalakaar hi nahin, woh ek bahatareen insaan bhi hain. Har kisi film actor ke janaaze mein, woh zaroor pahunch jaate hain aur unka wahan rahna hi kaafi hain. Itne izzatdaar aur itne nek insaan Raza Muradji ko Allah humesha khush aur health rakhein. Tabassumji, bahut bahut shukriya itne acche shaksiyat ke baare mein humein bataane ke liye. Raza Murad (bhai) is not just an actor with a thundering voice and great acting skills, but also an intellectual of the highest order. He is proficient in many languages. His insight, foresight and knowledge is extraordinary as well. From the ghazals of Ghalib to the poems of Keats, he is an all-rounder. If you ever speak with him on any issue, you will know the depth of his knowledge, understanding and his innate ability to understand and transcend different cultures, including detailed esoteric norms. I remember speaking with him on several issues in the 1980s and even in 2021, everything that he predicted is coming true. He is a very sound judge of character as well, and will take you to task if you take any liberties with him. There is an old saying, "zauf ke baghair narmi aur tashaddud ke baghair jabr' , in other words he shows politeness without any weakness, and gets compliance without being forceful...a very learned man of an extremely learned dad. The best thing about him is the ease with which he wears his fame, so lightly, so politely and humbly. I have played tongue twister games with him and he surprised us all with his arsenal of tongue-twisters in several languages. Contrary to his screen persona in the reel-life, in real life, Raza bhai is extremely jolly, good natured and friendly. There are very few people I can name who have even a fraction of his abilities and good heartedness!!

Worthy son of a worthy father, Raza Murad blessed with handsome personality n rich baritone (just like his dad's) has won hearts with his performances for decades. He was simply brilliant as a poor, suffering, dying shayar in 'Namak Haram'..a truly memorable role. I've always been a huge admirer of his impeccable Urdu. The शेर he loves to quote frequently:
"हज़ारों साल नर्गिस अपनी बेनूरी पे रोती है
बड़ी मुश्किल से होता है चमन में दीदावर पैदा"

I have a lot of respect for Raza Muradji. He is a good human being. He attends funerals of anybody related to the film industry when big shots fail to attend. He is very outspoken as well. God bless you bhai.

Once in a program in Jaipur, I had the opportunity to listen to Raza's voice on Mike and it was so impressive, his urdu pronunciation was superb. Raza Murad and Suresh Oberoi have very nice voice, better than Amitabh Bacchan.

Actually I saw him perform at his best not in a movie but in a TV serial of the late 90s in Doordarshan. The serial was "Waqt ki Raftar" wherein he played the role of a politician villain named DM. His performance was just astounding
Raza Murad ji was the first film actor whom I got the chance to see face to face in Chandigarh. He was shooting for a Punjabi movie. You can't imagine how jubilant and over excited I was for hours together, after seeing him.
