I adore this movie. I watched it very young, and to this day it never fails to get me pumped.
Corridor Crew gave the VFX on the plane crash scene a good kicking...

Now that 90s action movie month is over. I feel like I have to mention Hard Rain. Hard Rain is so cool.

It's always fun to know what someone else was doing during a specific point in time. I'm a year younger than Dan, but I was allowed to see most R-rated films. I remember being really excited for the Summer of '97 because of the E! promos. I watched those constantly and the trailer for The Lost World: Jurassic Park was my favorite trailer for probably 20 years. I'm pretty sure I saw all of the films that were released that summer. I know for sure I got to see Air Force One in theaters and I had the same reaction about the final visual effect of the plane crashing.

Are you going to do The 5th Element? That’s one of my favorite 90’s action movies! It also has Gary Oldman.
In the future some kid will be reviewing movies from last decade and will be using Dan's footage like he uses Siskel and Roger

This was the first rated R movie I saw in theater. I’m younger than you, Dan, and my mom actually suggested my brother take me to this. She did not know the rating. We didn’t tell her.
One of my and my brother's go to when he was little. Pretty good feat to capture the attention of an 18 year old girl and a 6 year old boy!

I enjoyed this movie. Kevin Costner would have been good, too. I did like The Postman and the book it was based on. Gary Oldman effectively portrays heros and villains.

Dan is often hilarious, but that didn't sound like it was said ironically. It's way past time for people to retire this line. The rest of the world collectively cringes whenever an American says this.
