cute, I just planted a dawn redwood outside in a wooded area with direct overhead sunlight, I had a bald cypress there before that buck deer had rubbed up against scraping all its bark off and killing it, I had just removed its cage too thought it was safe because it was like 7 feet tall . I hope this dawn Redwood doesnt suffer the same fate
