@@hlolkukuku i agree, riding in berlin isnt per se good or special. its just the only real metropolis in germany where you can do city riding all day. and thats fun, but its street routing, cobbles and traintracks, awfull lot of bikelanes, flow of the traffic, maniac drivers and the fact that its FLAT AF make it not better to ride in than hamburg or other north european cities imho. but its the best city in D, isnt it? i always miss it when i leave.

Meeting with friends, going to bars, clubs to events, sightseeing or other nice views and the people you actually encounter and meet are superb and super friendly! With a bike it’s very much enjoyable time. The routing can be a trouble if you only follow google maps. I lived for 14years there and I visit it pretty often. Over the years you kinda get to know where, when and how you can ride different styles or whether you need to ride more chill and be safe. But the flow is indeed very awful and can be unpredictable at times.

In Ireland 🇮🇪 I’ve tried cycling hard for 19 mins reaching 9km distance and elevation gain in Strava showing 28m & max elevation 61m. It’s depressing seeing how awesome your roads are.....I hit about 30ish sewer drains 7-8 pot holes always having about 30km head wind (airport worse) rain, dreadful tarmac, traffic lights & those Hills 🤦🏼
I’m in England and the rain mixed with strong 20 km/h winds with elevation of 90 metres on my daily commute is disheartening but I still manage a 20-22 km/h average.

I'm very new to cycling. On a single speed what gear ratio are you using on this ride. This was awesome but I'd like some computer telemetry in the corner.
Sounded like she said 49/15 in the video, which is a pretty big gearing IMO. Looked like the other riders were running lower gears (maybe 49/17 or thereabouts?)
