Smaller, simpler creatures are easier to control but larger more complex creatures can resist if their will is strong enough. When it’s the latter it is more of a request than a command, like someone said with the Kraken.
Fun fact. T rexes wouldn't veiw you as a meal. Your car, maybe. Only one inown species of raptor was that size, the utah raptor, and again it would rather hunt your dog, or your child than you. The biggest fear in a dinosaur stampede are the predetory flyyers and the fear of being squashed
